What a fabulous pub. Called in after reading a review and it looked like the best bet close to the canal. Turns out the review was right. No TV's, no gambling machines, no pool tables, but board games to use on the shelf, a fabulous choice of real ales, good food and most importantly great lo

A proper local pub. Recently started a few simple food options. Pizzas are amazing, and pie and a pint for less than a tenner, you can't go wrong.
Cracking canalside pub, proper real ales, three pints of Best for £11. Can't say fairer than that. Cheers!

Beer festival day today. Large choice of real ales and Ciders. The Blue Bell was also pub of the month as voted by Camra.
Pub was packed out and the the waiting times to be served was around 15-20mins. Had a great day out.
Great little pub. Excellent beer. Great value, good quality food. Sometimes live music and often busy.
