Reviews Humphry's Restaurant

An absolute delight. I have had the pleasure of dining at Humphry's just the once- but cannot wait to go back as our meal was one of the best I have ever had! The restaurant is set within the Mansion at Stoke Park hotel, which is also the oldest country club in Britain. The building is an imposing white structure in the middle of a beautifully kept parkland golf course with a long, sweeping drive-way.

For starters we had the pan-fried scallops and dorset crab- both beautifully presented and full of flavour. For our mains, we both went for the beef- which was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth! The dessert for me was the highlight of the meal- the Humphry's 'Snickers' had come recommended from a friend, so we split one- but I could have easily had the entire plate to myself!

The entire experience was just a delight- the service, the food, the atmosphere- I cannot wait to go back, and I would recommend it to anyone. It fully deserves its 3 AA Rosettes- and perhaps a michelin star is on the horizon!?
