Review Fleur De Lis - Stoke sub Hamdon

Has just changed hands and was dead for fathers day. Starter was so so, soup was from a tin and mushrooms were OK but a bit oily. Mains was a complete letdown vegetables were cold and overcooked broccoli looked washed out. Two meals came out and the others over 10 mins later one was cold and had to be sent back. Horse radish was home made of low quality and very vinegary. Used my cutlery for starters and couldn't start my main as cutlery hadn't been replenished had to ask. Had low expectations for this venture out as my elderly relatives often pick places based on how it used to be back in the day. This place meet every one of those expectations. Shockingly bad worst Sunday lunch in a very long time over cooked poor preparation and service. Photos of mains were of what was left (all of it) one to avoid at all cost

Rough and ready felt like it was a spit and saw dust type of place! The smoking area was very dirty and inside was not much better

Last time I come here. I don't need or want a lecture about how paying by card cuts into his profits. Shame.

Made me and my daughter, feel very welcomed. Bar lady was polite and friendly.

A lovely pub with friendly staff. Will definitely be returning soon. 👍

Starting to look very tired and run down. Rumours abound that is is too close but that hasn't happened yet.

Great atmosphere this evening with the football on the big screen. Carribean food tasters ready for take aways to start on Wednesday and Saturday. The food was fantastic, not being a spice fan, the flavour within the chicken, rice, peppered steak and homemade coleslaw was perfect ! Service from the bar and staff was spot on. Cheese boards and bar snacks ready for Tuesday's England game. Well done Michele, Mich, Sheila and Phil!
