Outstanding "small" English breakfast, large enough for any person. Cosy warm country pub atmosphere and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Everything here came to a grand total of £8.00

Friendly bar man and a few good ale choices. Only popped in whilst waiting for a Chinese (which was exceptional) but would be more than happy to go again.

Back in for the first time in years. New Landpeople! and changing a few beers. Beer kept well. Atmosphere better with seating back. Will go again but am a Swan man so difficult.

So glad we found this place for Sunday lunch. This is a cosy, traditional establishment with friendly staff and excellent food. The Sunday menu is limited to either small or large roast dinners (beef, turkey or ham) with a good choice of starters and desserts. I opted for a small roast beef which came with Yorkshire pudding, roast and mashed potatoes, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed swede with lots of lovely gravy and it was enormous! Very delicious and piping hot. The veg were all fresh and nicely cooked. I would have loved to try the sticky toffee pudding as several people in the bar were eating it and highly recommended it but I couldn't eat another bite. A very good Sunday lunch which I can certainly recommend.

What a lovely gem of a place. We had lunch here on such a wet and windy day. But the staff were really lovely and the food was fabulous by the warm log fire. We had the Winter Sharing Platter with the best Goulash I've ever tastéd. Awesome home made Scotch Eggs. Great find!

Great meal today. Chips were amazing, my daughters fish was huge! 1st class steak pie for hubby. My jacket spud was great, lots of salad and the grandchildren meals were really generous. Can't fault it 😊

We discovered this pub by chance on a day out. It is a little gem. We were made very welcome and enjoyed some of their excellent real ales. We didn't have time for a meal but their menu looked very appetising.

Amazing food, great atmosphere - ideal for a family night or a night with friends or as a couple. Staff are great fun and can hold a conversation and have banter which is a miss with most pubs. Love it here. Will be back very soon ❤️❤️

I haven't eaten here so cannot comment on the food. But there is a good choice of beers and currently an advantage is a large beer garden with a covered area and burner so drinking outside is possible even at this time of year.
