The Green Apple Cafe & Bistro

Fabulous! I'm very jealous of anyone who lives near the Green Apple. We had an amazing meal here: cooked breakfasts, quesadillas and a burrito. All vegan, all absolutely delicious. The cooked breakfast in particular was incredible: best tofu scramble I've ever had, amazing homemade sausage patties, delicious mushrooms, everything was amazing. And the people who work here are wonderful: friendly, welcoming, helpful, everything you could want and more. I'd rate it six stars if I could.

We googled best place for lunch around Stokesley and this was the best rated so we called today, Saturday. We received a warm welcome to this clean and tidy establishment and opted to sit outside. It soon became apparent that this would appear to be a vegetarian restaurant, although they did have fish and chips on the specials board. The cold bottle of Peroni went down just grand and the coffee was just right which we ordered strong. The garlic mushrooms and loaded fries were fantastic and filling. The service that we received from all of the staff was amazing. I will be honest and say that had I known this establishment was vegetarian I probably would have passed it by... But so glad that we didn't. To all you fellow carnivores, please do give this spot a try, I am sure that you will be pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.

We had just had a short hike up Roseberry Topping and were looking for somewhere to get a cuppa! We found this place not too far away (by car)! I was so impressed by the range of vegan food and drinks on offer. There is also a range of gluten free options. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and we ended up ordering some sweet treats. What a lovely little place. We will definitely be visiting again. Dog friendly and parking available.

We organised a lunch for our work event at North Yorkshire Physiotherapy from our friendly neighbours at The Green Apple and it certainly did not disappoint! All of our meals were full of flavour and we all wanted to try each other's! The flexibility to have the food as take out was excellent and we will all be back regularly to work our way through the menu! Thank you very much Amanda and Andrew!

Called in today for the first time in two years (thanks, covid). Still as lovely as I remember. Very welcoming staff, great menu, and when I'd made my choice, great food. Went for the chili dog simply because i can't remember the last time I had a hot dog. It was lovely, and very filling. Still found room for dessert though, a lovely raspberry brownie. Friends' burgers & wraps looked really good too, I really fancy one of the burgers next time. And hopefully next time will be a lot sooner than 2 years!

We ate here a few days ago. On entry all social distances were adhered to and staff were so so helpful and friendly. The food was simply the best vegetarian food we have ever had. An amazing menu and the food was so fresh and beautifully presented. You do not have to be a vegetarian to enjoy the food here.
