We have ordered from Golden Stone for around 9 years. Absolutely appalled tonight. Waited 1 hour and 50 mins for food which turned up barely Luke warm. Rang the number and was fobbed off and then was hung up on. Disgusting customer service - will never order again 😡

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! It is absolutely vile , the food was horrid and it has no flavour what so ever. It's very greasy and it's so dry. Non of us could stomach it. By far the worst Chinese I have ever had. Please stay clear.

Experience, customer service was appaulling, first order from them and the order was incorrect and was just dismissed when I rang to speak about the incorrect food being sent, they argued about what we ordered after specifically asking for the order to be read back to me so there was no confusion upon ordering. Rude service/response from the owner and would not recommend as the food is POOR quality, I recommend flaming wok in stone.
THESE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN A BUSINESS.

Didn't receive everything we ordered so we was over charged for missing items,
Most went in the bin
Rangt them back just got aload of excuses..
No apologies from the driver for been late .. the customer service is disgusting..

The food is absolutley awful, we tried a few mouthfulls and left the lot. Phoned to let them know we were unhappy only to get an argument from the owner telling me I was wrong and he never has any complaints. I don't understand any 5 star reviews on here, can only think they are false and made up. Steer well clear and spend your hard earned elsewhere.

Absolutely disgusting service
Ordered 4 meals, rang the takeaway and explained that we had paid over £30 for the meals and there was one missing , he then continued to tell me I was in the wrong and that I couldn’t add up. He began to be ignorant and tried to argue with me and put the phone down on me more than once . Foods pretty good, but customer is always wrong in this case.

A large array of dishes on the menu, most standard Chinese offerings though they do have a number of good Thai dishes. We will often get take away from here but generally stick to the mains as on occasions the duck for example has been less crispy than we'd expect. Capable take away.
