In Beautiful Stonehaven, we were looking for the chip shop that sells Mars Bars in Batter ... not that we crave that particular delicacy ... but there's also a good reputation around the fish suppers supplied there and, though it was early in the day ... Well.

We had very nice light lunches here today as a small family group. Staff were friendly and attentive. The coffee was excellent. We didn't take our dogs today but I thought that those that did, added positively to the homely and friendly atmosphere.
Called in for the first time today. We were really impressed with our lunch and quality of service. I think that we will be back soon.
What a nice surprise. Pulled up nearby to walk my dog to Dunnottar Castle and walked by, then saw the dog friendly sign. Went in for a mocha and cake and Kelp (my dog) got treats and water. One treat really got her taste buds going - see pic. Would recommend.
Beautiful wee place. Friendly staff and great food. First time trying Cullen Skink and it did not disappoint.

Excellent homemade food. We are very pleased. Helpful staff and good atmosphere. Reasonable prices and an amazing range of soups, cakes and so on. We will come back soon.
