Everything was perfect, ended over there by change, after we visited Stonehaven and Dunnottar for our first time. Next time we visit the castle we know where to eat a great pasta and drink a good wine. Thank you Gino, keep it up !
Really nice food and, after sending pics of the menu to my very italy-savvy partner, very authentic too! Actual garlic bread rather than a baguette with garlic butter on it, etc.
Would definitely recommend.
It was a wonderful experience and the food was amazing! Can't wait to be back here!
Gino's has become a bit of a tradition in my family: most weekends I will meet my parents here for lunch.
The menu is straightforward: either simple lunchtime staples such as baguettes and baked potatoes, or classic Italian dishes. There is plenty of choice on the normal menu and usually a couple of
We stopped in for a very late lunch, the place was empty but the service was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed their meals, I had the penne all'Arrabiata (pictured) and left full and satisfied. I would definitely return again.
Went over for lunch and the staff was courteous to accommodate a chicken based menu. The chicken was prepared fresh and nice. Enjoyed a hot bowl of lentil soup, a nice hot meal and would recommend the place for anyone visiting Dunnotar castle. The parking is around the roadside for a stipulated 45mi
Very cozy Italian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. Tagliatelle al salmone was delicious.
Very tasty... most enjoyable night...
Made very welcome...
Welcoming atmosphere. Food really good and excellent prices.
Casual place for delicious lunch. We had good pastas, prawn salad, a bottle of house white wine. All good. There are more extensive menu for dinner. Friendly Owner. Recommend.
Fantastic food and very friendly service.
Specials were good with seafood choices or lamb chops. Portions a little small but that means there's room for homemade sweets. Tiramisu and Sticky Toffee Pudding the evening we were in.
Highly recommended for a relaxed, pleasant evening that doesn't cost
Very nice meals small menu but the courses we had were fresh flavourful, good portions, very good 1/2 carafe red wine, 2 courses each and wine at a reasonable price. Sign in book plus sanitiser, kept us spaced from others. Nice relaxed attentive service good food, made for an enjoyable evening. Ps b
Small but authentic Italian restaurant. No pizza unfortunately but a good range of meat and pasta dishes. Tasty specials available, many sea food orientated. Wine by the carafe and demi carafe. Very reasonable prices. Good service and an overall feel of authenticity.
