We had an amazing dining experience at Nawabi Voj restaurant in Stonehaven. The food was simply outstanding, and we couldn't get enough of the delicious Indian dishes they offered. The flavors were authentic, and the spices were perfectly balanced, leaving our taste buds dancing with joy. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed throughout the evening. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, adding to the overall delightful experience. If you're a fan of Indian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! We can't wait to go back for another delightful feast.
Just finished the best Indian takeaway food I've had in a very long time. Order taken over the phone by a very nice gent, order arrived in time specified, food piping hot temp. when arrived ,the correct (IMO) amount of Chicken to Sauce ratio ( plenty sauce) and beautiful spicy flavours.

Very delicious food and great service - attentive and courteous. The ambience is quite classy. I can recommend the naan - partly soft, partly crisp - which comes straight out of the oven and is huge!
Definitely worth a visit, once you go inside it looks much more inviting than the small entrance does :)

We had a fantastic meal, served with Indian lager (never had one before). We were in welcoming atmosphere enjoying our delicious meal. Very good cooking!
We’d tried all the Indian restaurants in Stonehaven and all are very good. This one is easy to miss as the restaurant is on the first floor with a discrete door to the street. Bear this in mind if you struggle with stairs, in which case we’d recommend takeout. We’d been planning to try this restaurant for a while and we were not disappointed. The quiet calming Indian music and friendly welcome was a great start. The restaurant is airy and spotlessly clean with starched white tablecloths and proper napkins. Candle heated trays were brought to keep our dishes hot - a nice touch. My chicken madras was the best in memory, quite spicy as I like it. With pilau rice, tarka daal and a garlic naan, there was enough for two. My wife enjoyed a chicken tikka masala as did our two companions and we had enough left over to take out for another light meal. We all agreed this was the best Indian meal we’d had in a very long time. And the price was very reasonable too.
Courteous and welcoming, very nice food, a wide range of specials on the menu. Music kept comfortably at a level where conversation is easy.
The people were very hospitable and couldn't do enough for us. It was a delight to be there, the food was amazing. I could eat there every day. Excellent.

We had a wonderful meal here! The chicken, lamb, and prawn tikka masala was delicious, as were the Bombay Aloo potatoes. The owners provided excellent service and were so kind!

Perhaps it was the time of year or just bad timing but there was not a soul in the restaurant. I wanted to sit in and give the waiter/waitress someone to talk too
But on this occasion I only required a take away
Boy am I glad I did it was fantastic onion bajhee with sauce and salad Afghani Lamb, Pilau rice and Peshwari Naan
