Wonderful old world charm in whole place. Tucked away and looks closed but go in, you'll find friendly owner, what a gent, and chatty young assistant. Proper home made cakes, pies, and only wish I'd brought tupperware to take some home! The doorstop bacon sandwich was soft and delicious which kept
Lovely little oldie world tea rooms tucked away on a major traffic junction. Blink and you'll miss it. Really good food and service too.
A lovely quaint little cafe in a beautiful setting. An old fashioned shop, but lovely home cooked food by Peter. Tended to by Kim, who took care of our every need. It's going through having a spruce up. A lovely few hours.
The very best home made victoria sponge cake with home made jam and fresh cream I've ever had , and a very generous portion and the pot of hot tea, was enough for 2.5 cups. My friend had cake and fresh coffee, a big mug, and not instant. Very good for the price, and open fire lit, The tea room is

Absolutely heavenly deserts. This is my favourite, Pete's homemade roulade. Huge portions too !
Single handedly the best tea room ever - been visiting for over 20 years and never disappointed - food exceptional - bacon and egg sandwich to die for
I had homemade leek and cabbage soup with thick slices of granary bread. Delicious. There is a variety of meals, reasonably priced. Also delicious looking cakes. Service was a little slow.
A very popular cake. Home cooked to order. It tastes very nice. Prices are reasanable and the portions good sizes. They also sell some Very interesting local publications. They only deal in cash, no cards at all. They get very busy and sometimes the tables could be cleaner. The toilets are not insp
Good hot coffee and the cakes and pies were excellent.
Old fashioned cafe. Friendly staff, simple, honest, tasty food. Reasonably priced. It is like stepping back in time, and that is it's charm. What you see is what you get: this is not a fast food establishment so bring time, bring cash, not card, and enjoy.
Excellent Sunday breakfast. Really cosy, and friendly, food good with a huge pot of tea and hot water for 2...just needs a little bit of decorating to spruce up. But not to get rid of ambiance or theme of cafe. Which is delightful
My favourite cafe. Friendly staff. Delicious food, always freshy made. Very reasonable prices.
Great cafe with a variety of lovely food served by friendly staff, however I enjoyed a great full English which set me up for the 1 hour return walk back along the stourbridge canal with my parents πŸ‘πŸ™‚
Lovely tea and cakes, very friendly staff. Toilets could use some improving, but overall very pleased. And post-COVID, they do take credit cards. We will return!
After driving past it countless times over many years, today I was able to visit it for the first time and it was lovely. Friendly service, sensible prices and a simple but robust choice of items on the menu. And they do decaf tea!
Very tasty old fashioned cooked dinner of steak pie and veg. Perfect for a hungry man. The home made desserts are.. Super delicious.. And goodly portions.
We come here often. Always feel welcome. We enjoy our breakfasts and pot of tea. Now the weather is improving it is great to sit outside.
