I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wyck Hill House Hotel, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The rooms at Wyck Hill House Hotel were nothing short of exceptional. Spacious, elegantly designed, and meticulously maintained, they provided a haven of comfort and tranquility. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding and luxurious amenities to the thoughtfully arranged decor. It was clear that great care had been taken to create an ambiance of relaxation and sophistication.
The culinary offerings at Wyck Hill House Hotel were a true delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse and tantalizing menu, featuring a fusion of flavors and locally sourced ingredients. Each dish was a masterpiece, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the culinary team consistently delivered an exceptional dining experience. From arranging transportation to providing personalized recommendations for local attractions, they were always eager to assist and make my stay as seamless as possible.
This hotel is set in large grounds and was a stately home in the past.
We were there 10 years ago and decided to return. Unfortunately the owners had decided to sell the property and the new owners were not able to accommodate our
Fabulous room. Great deal with meals and a spa treatment included in the price! Can’t wait to visit this place again
Spacious rooms and views are great. Service is top notch also the food is of good quality!
The hotel is lovely, if I were to be picky, perhaps some of the corridors and stairwells are in need of some love. However it was warm, the rooms really comfortable. However what made the weekend for us were the staff. So many went above and beyond to make our weekend so special. Nothing was too much trouble and always done with a smile. The food was excellent, the drinks were well priced and the breakfast was superb. Thank you all for making the weekend special.
Staff throughout the hotel during each part of our stay were very welcoming, professional and accommodating.
The treatments in the Spa were fantastic and again the staff were very attentive and friendly whilst professional.
The quality of our dinner was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed every course.
We went for a feature room which was superb. The bed was so comfortable and the views were amazing.
Breakfast was also a delight in the Orangery.
The whole experience was extremely relaxing and enjoyable and would definitely recommend. We will stay again next year as also a great location.
Just returned from a 2 night stay with friends. What a fantastic time we had. Could not fault anything. The restaurant was excellent...the food delicious, with a wide menu choice.
We were warmly welcomed and even received a complimentary room upgrade.
The staff throughout the hotel were exceptional. We enjoyed the friendly banter with the restaurant staff and couldnt disagree more with a previous review regarding there understanding!! Just wish i could speak other languages as well as they speak English!

The hotel is fabulous The staff so helpful polite and professional. Food was excellent and Jonathan just went the extra mile in service. He could not have done more. Always made time to talk and ask if we needed anything. Will was also very good. We were looking after our grandson whilst our daughter and her husband were attending a wedding. We will be returning in October and I must say we can't wait. We must give a special mention to front of house. They did everything they could to make sure we were happy and safe in our room with a 14 month old.
We have two lots of friends that have booked on our strong recommendation.

Really lovely hotel. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were large, comfortable and quiet. Great showers and comfy beds. I also thought the breakfast was very good. We loved our stay - thank you!
Excellent location with stunning views. Food was exceptional, high quality and set in a lovely dining room. Bed room was tired as was some of the common areas. Lovely spa treatments. Staff were attentive and professional.
Overall fantastic 2 night stay.

Nice service, location is good and coming to rooms, they're amazing.
Second visit to this amazing hotel. Jonathan was a delight and ensured our stay was enjoyable. Service great too. A very quaint hotel in beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the seating area outside looking at the stunning scenery. Absolutely recommend this hotel whether it's a romantic getaway or just a nice weekend with friends. Right on the doorstep of Stow On The Wold and Burford, Broughton On The Water close by too.
One of the most pleasant short stays myself and my partner have had in a hotel. Well sized rooms with all the amenities required in a lovely building with intrigue and history. The food, without doubt, would be in anyone's top 10 meals. Absolutely sublime with great service to accompany it. Really can't say enough about the experience.. would love to have stayed longer.
Stunning hotel set in fabulous grounds. There are separate buildings in the grounds you can book like the Coach House or Orangery. We stayed in the latter in Executive room. Doors led out into own private patio area and great garden. Whole experience was brilliant. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful and efficient. Food excellent. Location great for visiting surrounding towns and villages. We were not disappointed.
Stayed in August 2021 in room 54 which is in the courtyard annex. Massive room, large 4 poster bed, shower and separate bath, small room for tea/coffee making facilities, really great room. Stayed 2 nights and ate at the restaurant, really good menu, excellent quality food and wine at a fair price. Staff friendly. Lots of parking. Plenty to visit nearby so well worth staying here and using it as a base if visiting the local sights. 5 stars, recommended.

Had a lovely two days here. Food was very good and staff excellent. Room was nice too. The only gripe was the half bottle of champagne in the room. Which smelt of smelly socks and tasted horrid. (Probably corked) The manager did say have a drink on the house after our dinner but we'd had enough of alcohol by then. Thought he'd of taken a bit off the bill. But no. Never mind.
