Review The Cross Keys Stow - Stow

What a gem of a restaurant on the outskirts of Lincoln that we found thanks to google maps 👌 the best food we’ve had in years and we do travel a lot. The prices are very reasonable if not a bargain for the high quality you serve. We will be back very soon that’s for sure. Keep up the great work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Cross Keys really surprised us. Popped in last minute, the team fitted us in, and looked after us. Very knowledgeable about gluten free. Food was superb. Couldn't fault it, or the service. This pub is now on our select list. Highly recommended. Thanks for a great meal.

Hayley and her team at the Cross Keys are brilliant. The food is excellent quality and waiters friendly and professional. We have had breakfast, a selection of different main courses and a Sunday lunch at the Cross Keys and I couldn't fault any of it.

We booked on Friday for a table of two for sunday lunch, I will say this is of the best food I've had. I have the chicken liver parfait and partner had the twice baked cheese soufflé. Both were lovely, presented beautifully. We both had the roast beef, that was cooked to our liking. The service was impeccable and will will be back, when we are in the area. Thank you x

Rang on the off chance for a table for my mum and I for Sunday lunch, less than an hour later we were sat ready to order. The service was excellent, all three staff that waited on our table were friendly, efficient and approachable. The food was delicious, I had Roast Lamb and mum had a small Beef. The portion size’s were spot on and the Roast arrived hot, swiftly followed by the veg. We don’t usually have a Sweet but thought we would share the Stcky Toffee pudding, my goodness! It was beautiful, absolutely fabulous … I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending The Cross Keys at Stow, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, we will definitely be returning. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing place. Was recommended to go and so glad I did. I had the Duck with Gooseberry and Marmalade Jus. I requested to try the Jus before to see if I liked it. I was impressed. The duck was amazing and everything about the whole evening was fantastic. You definitely have to try this place.

I had the tastiest chicken pie I've ever had there today, nice IPA on tap decor was a bit grim and the service was a bit slow but the staff were good. I'll be back!

Another night of excellent food and company. The food was cooked to perfection and everyone was very pleased with their choices. We visited this time for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. We can recommend eating here, staff are friendly and helpful and service is very good, food is excellent. So pleased we again have a good restaurant near us.

Having been out of the country for most of the time since Hayley and Dan took over the running of The Cross Keys, we haven't had the opportunity to go. We rectified this today! We took two friends for lunch. We loved the brighter decor and the lovely warm welcome from Hayley and her team. Dan's food was very, very good. We all ate from the special menu - two courses for £13.50. Two of our party had liver served with mash and a good selection of fresh vegetables. Another had cheese souffle and I had melt-in-the-mouth ribs with a tasty apple slaw. All the food was hot, perfectly cooked and delicious. I would recommend The Cross Keys to anyone and hope that it won't be too long before we pay a return visit.

My wife and i have been to the Cross Keys several times. It is a fantastic family run restaurant with a good choice of food, wines and spirits. The roasts are excellent but the ribs are my favourite and recommended. We will be going again.

Excellent meal there last night. Steak pie mmmm. And clementine creme caramel to die for. Lovely bright place and staff more than excellent

Soufflé for starters was beautiful, I had a sirloin steak, cooked lovely, sadly no onions at all which can't believe anyone would serve steak without onions, don't do dauphinois potatoes !! Hand cut chips, tasted like McCann frozen chips, which spolit the look and taste of the meal, such a lovely steak should have home made chips at least, veg was nice but hot beetroot on top of the rest of the veg, I like beetroot, hubby hates it. Bar were our table was reserved was freezing, when commented to the staff they did turn it on but obviously that would take time to heat the pub, this will be great place but needs some little amendments.
