Reading reviews I found this place and it was fantastic. We had a large breakfast for a good price. The table service was fantastic and the food really good.
The restaurant is very big and also the menu with lots of choices. It is cash payment required. Situated in the town centre and easy to find.

Honestly I was well impressed with this place. If what you are after is tasty fish and chips you will not fall off here. I loved it that they had a large selection of the finest takeaway food available. Plenty of seating. They are dog friendly and the staff are helpful and friendly too. We had fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce which was excellent. I'm not sure if fish and chip cafés are your thing but every once in a while everyone should try them. This is really one of the very best and believe you me I've sampled plenty from Blackpool to Blackburn and beyond. I'll definitely go here again. The prices were very reasonable.

Friendly service. I decided on the fish supper and I wasn't disappointed. Big portion and very tasty. My girl opted for the mince and tatties another portion and great taste. Good value

Wasn't the best. Milk shake was like nesqick. Waitress says no ice cream.. There was alot in the window area? No smiling . Must have been a rough day for them . Laughable at the best đđ«

Brilliant cafe and chip shop in Stranraer for sit in or takeout. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I tried the Custom House pub in the town, but they had stopped serving food when I called at 8pm on friday. I was directed to the Starfish cafe and would definitely call again. Handy if you want a good meal before you get the boat to Belfast and there's plenty of seating. I sat in and got a lovely fish supper and coffee for ÂŁ7. They also do good dinners with mash potatoes, or lasagne or spaghetti.

Great place with some really tasty food and reasonably priced. The fish and chips is very good but you can also eat pizza or soup or burgers and not be disappointed. We visited it as a family of 5 and had a great experience. Food was good, the staff was brilliant and prices were very reasonable.

Very busy , very large menu, I'd say budget plus food, better than most standard pub grub, would definitely eat there again
