The Chequers - Streatley - Photo album

Visited The Chequers in Streatley recently after a great walk around Barton-Le-Clay. What a lovely, welcoming pub. We had a prawn jacket potato & a Turkey sandwich, both of which were delicious & great value for money. Ambiance was great too.
Good normal everyday food hot and tasty one odd thing only filter coffee well worth visit well done
Friendly bar staff and good variety of live music every Saturday night from 9pm.
Lovely local country pub. Very friendly staff and great basic pub food, especially the fish and chips!
Good location if you are out on walks, staff at the bar were friendly. Could definitely do with removing the old gazebo and having a bit of a redesign outside but for a pit stop is a great location.
I had a jacket potato with prawns, my son had the scampi. Very nice. Chocolate cake with ice cream to share… great!
Proper Village pub. Only downside is the food could be slightly improved. However never had a bad meak there
Well-cooked pub favourites including steak. Good range of beers, ale well looked after. Friendly service. Social distancing measures in place and working. Get there early if eating; probably advise phoning ahead or booking.
Very nice pub. Good service and great food. Had my first ever 4 sausage bangers & mash!
Nice small pub, good service and food. Offers live bands in the summer months at weekends. Outdoor seating
Excellent customer service, nothing was to much trouble, went above and beyond. Nice surroundings, felt comfortable. Great portion sizes, good choice of menu.
