I enquired about the availability of meat/dairy free breakfast options in advance and when I arrived the staff were aware and incredibly friendly & accommodating. The breakfast was lovely as was the service!

I went there, waiting ferryboat. Whit my husband, we drunk tea and ate a delicious apple pie. A very nice place.

Dedicated staff, home made food - mostly natural Orkney products coupled with superb coffee, especially now the new coffee machine has arrived

Super delicious Orkney crab 🦀 rolls. A small cafe with outdoor seating and serves coffee and sandwiches. We came with a tour and our guide highly recommended the crab rolls. We’re glad that we had tried it. Very yummy.

The coffee and cake was lovely and the owners came out to say hi and meet our Huskies. They even opened on the most stormy day of our stay and we had coffee to warm us up after a very bracing walk on the island.

Was there for breakfast club, service was fast although a couple of minor errors but nothing really to moan about would happily go back, a little on the high side for price and would have liked toast I would recommend this place to anyone.

Julia’s is takeout only. The info on Google and Facebook is not clear about that. For a sit-down, get a table at Adam’s, just next door. Their food and service is terrific.

Lovely to sit outdoors and people watch. Very relaxing. I left my handbag on a bench by accident. Went back an hour later and it had been handed in behind the counter...thank you ladies!

Had a great steak roll and coffee here the other day. Service is fast and friendly. The outside seating is fine for decent weather.

Indoor and outdoor seating area. Food is simple and very good quality. Ordering can be a bit hmm.. you make orders at a window then wait outside for them to give you a shout. Although there are seating areas it’s all technically take away.

Friendly reception and definitely the best ever crab roll! The cafe was closed but Julia's shed next door with takeaways and outside seating was very much open. A cyclist's dream - thanks Julia 😀👍

Now called Adam’s Place, it’s being transformed into a fully-fledged restaurant. Outstanding featherblade beef dish for my wife was the star of the show today, while my haddock goujons were perfection. Chef Barry is working to create everything from scratch with local produce, and it shows. It’s sure to become one of THE places to eat on Orkney.

This cafe was on my 'must do' list. I'm not disappointed. I chose the creamy smoked seafood chowder with toasted sourdough bread from the specials board. It was chunky, tasty and super filling.
