Great food and nice service.
We had a very nice time, the food quality was excellent and the service was great. There are just a couple of things that let the restaurant down, which in the modern day and age could be easily rectified.

For our first evening out in Stroud we wanted to try somewhere that was recommend and we weren't disappointed. I was nursing a pint elsewhere and wondering where to eat. Then TripAdvisor showed me this small and simple bistro and that tonight was their paella night. A delicious £5 bargain, with which I enjoyed a bottle of wine. A wonderful experience for anyone wanting honest grub rather than fine dining.

After a night out from watching the rugby with a hangover from hell the next day I was not in any fit state to shop,cook and wash up after cooking a Sunday roast...sooo I googled for a delivery of a roast dinner..found bar 23 and ordered a roast along with crumble and custard....
