Visited on a Sunday around 2 food was amazing restaurant wasn't very busy so didn't wait to long for meal. Plenty of options on menu if you don't want fish. Portions a good size including salad. I opted for scallops served around 6 scallops nice size with chunky chips and salad. Would say bit too mu

The service is friendly and attentive.
The first time we had fish and chips here was great but the second time the fish was more oily and not as crispy.
They have really good food. The service was great and portions were good. I went twice in January when I was in Sudbury. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I stopped for a lovely Fish and chip lunch. The fish was amazing and the portion sizes was great. We definitely didn't eat for the rest of the day.

The food is delicious, but there are little things missing. Like the little pots of tartar sauce, the little touches that make such a difference. I would have given 5 stars in the past, but there is just something missing. They are quite expensive too.

Decided to eat in as visiting Sudbury and it was starting to drizzle outside.
Had large cod, chips and mushy peas x2 absolutely superb, moist fish and chunky fresh chips.
We go to the Codfather quite often for both eat in and takeaway and the service, food and all round atmosphere is fantastic. Tried the Scallops for the first time this week and they were cooked to perfection. They definitely know thir fish.
This is a must if you’re passing.
