Booked online for our anniversary meal, sat down promptly and handed our menus. Lots of options to choose from but definitely has some of the classic options. We went for a mix of things to try a bit of everything! It was all very delicious and the servers were very friendly. The Dum Lamb Achari was my absolute fave and incredible!
The atmosphere of the place was good but my only negative was the telephone (I assume for takeaway orders) is in the main restaurant area and kept going off.
Included the receipt so people can see the prices but overall I thought for the quality a lot of the items were reasonably priced, but the poppadoms and chutney tray?! Hm.

We went as a party of four on Saturday lunchtime, just as it opened. Staff were attentive and quickly gave us menus. Starters wers were all nice - I had the palak paratha- and the vegetarian in the group found enough to eat. Mains were filling _the balti and the chum chum are recommended - and the chilled Cobra was refreshing. Took quite some time to get the food served but otherwise champion stuff

Food is always exceptional! I usually get delivery which doesn't take long. Have eaten in a few times and only complaint is at busy times service is a little slow. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is always 10/10!!

A spontaneous decision to go out on a Monday evening and well worth it.

Have only ordered Take-Out but cannot recommend enough. I'm writing this off the back of a number of takeaway orders and would add:
1. Really pleasent ordering experience.
2. Great food - and all requests catered for.
3. Speedy efficient service.
4. Extremely courteous delivery people.
If they can deliver take-away food this good then I can only assume the 'eat in' experience is amazing which I hope to encounter.
Having seen other reviews on price, my view is that their price point absolutely reflects good value for money in the current climate.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant as we were only visiting Sudbury for the weekend.
We walked past it during the day when it was closed and because it looked so smart through the window we booked a reservation for the evening.
We were not disappointed, it was busy which made for a good atmosphere and the staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient.
I love Indian food and this is some of the best I've tasted, even my wife who only ever has a Korma said hers was the tastiest she's had. It was beautifully presented and even though they were busy we didn't have to wait long to be served.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Difficult to judge food as I order a different meal every time. But it was as described.
Very quiet for an early Friday night but couldn't fault the service.

As a regular home diner I honestly use Jilani as it's the finest, restaurant quality Indian food available in Sudbury ! I can't recommend the exquisite flavours and spices of all your favourite dishes but with a difference. Pricey ? - Admittedly, but thesedays you get what you pay for and once you've tasted this, there's no going back to imitations.

It was always a decent Indian but now refurbished and with new owners it's really excellent food - some dishes i have not seen anywhere else and really nicely presented. I have had one take away and one sit in meal. I think the staff are still getting used to things so it's not quite perfectly slick yet (reminder about water for the table) but they are very friendly and the food is really superb. It's probably a notch more expensive than it was before but it may very well be some of the best indian food i have ever had.

I had my 21st birthday meal here . The food was very yummy . It definitely filled the space in my stomach . Lovely service ! Cheff was very polite and came out . They all made me smile by singing happy birthday to me . They also made a lovely gesture by giving me and my friend a cupcake with candles in it 🥰what a lovely experience with these lovely people !!

First time visiting ...I did have a meal here many years ago, and it wasn't a good experience... but these are obviously new owners and no expense spared.
The refurbishment is very good and the most important thing is the food was very good too

Visited here a week ago with family for a birthday and we all agreed it is some of the best Indian food we have had. Portion sizes were huge and definitely worth the slightly higher price point and the service was great. One of our main dishes was incorrect and this was changed and cooked fresh very quickly and they catered for an allergy on our table very well.
They even brought out ice cream with a sparkler and sung happy birthday!
Only slight thing I would say is that it is incredibly bright in the restaurant which made the atmosphere feel a little cold and not quite as intimate and cosy - but this is only minor.

Fantastic poppadoms, best that I’ve ever had! Truly exquisite flavour and crunch, deserves a Michelin star. Also, the service and curries are top notch. 5/5, would recommend to any fans of Indian food! Will definitely be bringing the family here again!!

Tribute Band evening and meal was a great night out. Would recommend to go along to your favourite Tribute as the food was good and plentiful and staff were very good.

Went to hen night , I'm afraid wasn't a good experience. Had to wait 2 hours for food to come and when it came it was luke warm . It was a shame as flavour would have been great . Feel they were not geared up for a large party.

It was such a shame the food took ages to arrive, with one meal missing. Which then unfortunately left one person waiting for their meal. They offered some chips whilst she waited which was thoughtful. But I think out of courtesy they would have discounted our bill as the last meal came out too late and was very tasteless because it had been rushed.

We went to the Franky Vally night. Food was served efficiently and hot. Lovely flavours good quality and tasty. Loads of friendly staff so looked after well. Then a good evening of music and high spirits. Really enjoyed it. Hope India continues to do well!

I went for my 30th birthday last night and had to wait just over an hour for our food, and the waiters looked so miserable, the food was good but took far to long and it wasn't even that busy. Not sure I will be returning in a hurry. �
