The pub is beautiful , the staff friendly and the food delicious and to top it the price is good . The flowers on the outside of the pub are stunning

Beautiful home-cooked Sunday roasts and desserts. Been for some food on a weekday, too, and it was equally delicious. Add to that the good drinks selection, friendly staff and good music - what more would you want in a pub! Will be back very soon!
Unfortunately I didn't get to stay at the Lazy Elizabeth due to unforeseen circumstances .
However Bex has been amazing with me booking cancelling then re booking and cancelling again.
Very lovely lady, kind easy to talk to just super.
Hopefully in the next couple of months I will get to the Lazy Elizabeth and enjoy our stay.

Stayed here a couple of times now and it's a great spot - in my opinion the best hotel in Sudbury. Rooms are varied what with it being an old building, but the ones I've stayed in have been great. It can be a little noisy, but that's what you get with a town centre location, which is really the best thing about this hotel. Don't count on parking being available in the very small car park, but there's plenty of public parking nearby. They do offer breakfast, but I've never got up early enough to have it when I've stayed here!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lady Elizabeth hotel, and it was truly delightful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The hotel's classic yet modern decor created an inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. My room was cozy, clean, and well-appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel's location was perfect, offering easy access to the city's attractions. Overall, The Lady Elizabeth provided a charming and memorable stay, and we can't wait to return.
We went on a Saturday. Very friendly staff. Oh and its dog friendly too!!! Food was great(I had the wings and wish I had ordered two portions!!) very nice beer too. Just a good old honest to gosh pub.
Had the pleasure of staying in the heart of the beautiful market town of Sudbury in the most gorgeous family suite at Lady Elizabeth.
The staff are incredibly hospitable to the point of bending over backwards.
I cannot fault both the room or hospitality in any way and highly recommend you make the Lasy Elizabeth your choice of home from home when visiting suffolk!!
The pub has an amazing atmosphere and embraces the age of the building.
It's recently changed ownership and the new owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. They're not currently taking bookings for the hotel but I had managed to book a room online somehow through a 3rd party website. I turned up unexpected and the owners helped me out in a pinch (I was on my way to a wedding so didn't have much time!) What could have been a very stressful evening was all sorted due to their willingness to help and generosity. Lovely atmosphere in the pub too.

Upon entry we was welcomed by a man who asked how many our table party was. When we said 3 he asked us for 5mins to ensure the table we was going to be sitting at was clean.
Then a lady brought us our menus over and asked us if we would like to order drinks, I'm actually surprised they sell Corona on Druaght so we all ordered one. When the lady brought us our drinks over and they was ice cold just how I like them to be (no one likes a warm Beer). She then asked if we was ready for food.
We have placed our order.
The food looks and tastes delicious and is well presented. Even comes with propper chips with the skins on. All the food is fresh. As a Chef myself I can honestly say I am enjoying this meal.
Overall I am well happy with the service me and my family have received today, staff was always polite and well presented.
We dont live around here and here visiting for the day and we was made to feel welcome. 5* Guys and Ladys keep up that good work.

Best Eggs Benedict I've had for years. Honestly ... 👍🏻 This is now my favourite spot for breakfast in town. And I also had a really really good pint of Guinness served to me today. Good food, good drink, friendly and welcoming staff. Spot on. Truly recommended.
The room was small, but the bed comfortable and we slept very well. Good shower. We stayed midweek and it wasn't noisy at all, but the pub stays open to midnight at the weekends so can't say what that would be like. Had the traditional cooked breakfast which was good. Cereals, juice and fruit supplied too. Was able to park outside quite easily in the evening, busy during the day though.
5 star establishment with out the extreme prices, great food and staff. Its under new management and they are the reason I visited sudbury as I met them in there previous pub in kent and are now friends for life. I was invited to bring my barbecue business to the gin festival over the weekend and stayed in their hotel. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area or want a little break. It is located in the heart of town with ample parking, shops and everything you may need to enjoy a long stay or just an overnight stop and be on your way (like I did). Having the tour of all the rooms I can tell you that the are pretty special and have a wide range including a gorgeous suite with a roll top bath perfectly situated in the corner of the room being a listed building they really have managed to bring it in to modern times in a subtle and functional way. Perfect for families or couples. I'll be visiting again soon.
We booked a table for a family get together for brunch on a Sunday morning for 11 people of all ages. Breakfast menu is very reasonably priced and food was very good. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were all very pleased and will use this venue again for the next get-together.
A good centre of town hotel which is going to get better and better. The new manager is doing a great job. Parking is being addressed but parking is free in town. The bedrooms are really clean, comfy the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed two nights this week and enjoyed it. Breakfast is good especially the lady chef! The restaurant is comfy and we tried just bar snacks which were tasty. Really good value for money
Really nice pub, place was clean, bright and warm, the owners are lovely.
I was working remotely that day, whilst waiting for my car to be serviced round the corner. I had the big breakfast and a couple of coffees. Hash browns were spot on!
It made a nice change from working in a coffee shop.Would happily return!
