Friendly welcome, shown to our seats, fantastic menu the food was lovely filling. Staff very friendly and the feel of the place with the art and seating felt homely. I truly recommend anyone to come and eat here at least once, for the quality of service and food.
Stopped here for a drink by the river on the way home from a day in London and decided to stay for a bite to eat. Initially sat outside but it got chilly do we were immediately found a table inside. Had the Mushroom and Stilton burger with fries which was superb. Great location, fab food, great atmosphere and really great service. Can't wait to go back and try some of the other things on the menu. Would definitely recommend the Boathouse.
The entire valentines 💖 night experience at the Boathouse was fabulous, Beautifully set tables, great ambience despite being busy. Staff very efficient and friendly. The meal itself although a set meal of three courses with little choice was perfectly executed, well presented and delicious. This was our first time at the Boathouse and I have to say it didn't disappoint and we will definitely return.

the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and the overall service was amazing - the atmosphere and setting of this restaurant really adds to the experience .

My eldest daughter Alice was celebrating her birthday. We were really looked after well by the waiter and waitress. Firstly our drinks came out on time followed by our food. Had a five star meal tonight at the new boat house. The food was top quality, presentation superb and Flavours excellent. I was able to watch chef as he presented the food with precision. All the staff were fully alert to everyone’s needs. I very rarely write reviews but on this occasion I will as I couldn’t find fault with anything.
Good attentive service, good prompt delivery of drinks, good timely arrival of good well cooked and presented food. This venue has always suffered from being a 'summer only' venue, but I will be coming here all year round because along with all the 'goods' mentioned above, the interior has obviously had care and attention paid to it making it a very pleasant place to visit anytime.
Dined here on Monday 18th April. Food, service, scenic views, drinks & everything else was a perfect 10/10 for me. Prices were reasonable given the exceptional quality of each course too.

A delightful atmosphere, with bright and cheerful staff, who were knowledgeable about all the food & drinks. The artistic presentation and mixture of flavours was phenomenal 👌. I would highly recommend The boathouse to anyone who loves cooking thus appreciates even more, GREAT FOOD & SERVICE ( well priced as well ) 🤗
