It was in January when we were there for my mom and dad 60th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, back in September, we were remembering my mom after her passing. They put on an incredible spread. Nice friendly place with good service looking forward to Sunday lunch here, well Sunday lunch was really good and large portions always great service tried the fillet and ribeye steak's and they were perfect some of the best steak's I have had and the chips were great as well had a curry pie yum yum

Great chicken madras and proper chips like Nan and mum used to make in a chip basket. Keith's food is always excellent and you always get a warm and friendly welcome from Jackie and the staff. But next time Keith please don't disguise the beef as chicken in the madras.

Visited today for the first time, in total 8 adults. Food was beautifully presented, good choice and nice and hot. Great staff and they were all extremely attentative. Great value and we will definitely be returning.

Just come back from the most exceptional Christmas meal. Fabulous, plentiful food, attentive and caring staff and very good value. Highly recommended.

Superb Sunday dinners and awesome trifle.this is the best and only place to go on a Sunday.Curries in the week fabulous and to top it all Jackie Keith and staff really lovely.

Eat here last night and have to say that the food was amazing. Generous portions and homemade chips, what's not to love.

Have had lunch/dinner at the club many times over the years and have always been happy with the food and service. They have now started doing breakfast so we have been for the last 2 weeks to try it out. I must say the breakfast is excellent. It is cooked to order and to your requirements and arrives hot and perfectly cooked. Tea and coffe come in mugs too. Service is friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Friday breakfast is now going to be a weekly fixture for us. Highly recommended.

Took my son there for a birthday tea. The food was great and he loved it.

Went to SCC today with family for a 3 course Christmas Dinner. What a big disappointment that was! £40 per person. 1 very small boiled potatoe 1 ball of hard, dry stuffing 2 small oblong pieces of potatoe (chip size) they were th roast poatoe I think. 1 thin slice of turkey (wet) 1portion of carrots 1 portion of peas. SWEET Apple pie and custard. Too much apple that seemed to be like a puree Hardly any pie crust All floating in too much custard which was vile. For four of us £160.00. Forgot to mention 4 prawn cocktail. NEVER AGAIN. WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS RESTERAUNT TO ANYONE.
