After the recent passing of my dad, we held his wake here. Everyone who attended, spoke highly of the spread they put on and enjoyed the experience. The staff were amazing with us and the quality of food was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back!
When I arrived, I felt a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have a wide drinks selection which was great for my party. Had a few pints and some lovely food which was cooked to perfection. Would recommend trying the rosedene! You will not be disappointed.

Really nice pub, meals were portioned favourably and priced fair. Drinks were on the expensive side.
Service was fantastic, everyone at the bar were lovely and friendly.
Atmosphere was off only due to the closeness of a pool table to our table, quite loud when trying to dine.
Called in to try the new menu and the Rosedean has plenty on offer for everyone, some flamming challengers too if you can stomach it!! Place was buzzing and it allows dogs which is a great idea. I ordered the XL mixed grill and it was nice but onion rings was missing from the meal, food was cooked
First time to visit here today. Family brought me for my birthday! The food was absolutely beautiful!!! The staff were lovely and very friendly. Decor and interior inside was really really nice and decorative.... very cosy.....Will definitely be coming back again with my partner.

We called into the Rosedene on Saturdat 1st July. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Aidan in particular he helped us find a table as it was very busy. Went for a family meal at lunchtime. Food was great and plenty of it. Service was excellent. Chicken in all dishes was lovely southern fried. Place still needs brightening up with a lick of paint however
Visiting family who live in Sunderland and called at Rosedene for lunch. Staff were friendly and food excellent. Will definitely lunch there again and highly recommend
Really like this place , we were meeting up with friends we hadn't seen in a long while, so it was nice to be able to sit away from the noise ( it was quite loud in the main bar area)
