We popped in for a lunch today, we've been in many times when we're down visiting family, and it never disappoints. The staff are all so friendly, great with the kids. Food is always delicious. Toilets are nice and clean. Highly recommend it. 👌
I'm a regular here and came in today for the summer fayre, what an excellent event!! Lots of stalls and met by the friendly faces of the people who work there who always go above and beyond with their supreme service. I will always love going back to the new derby!!
We were on a break at Roker beach and decided to walk around the local area, we dropped in for a drink and ended up eating a meal too, the food was great, we didn’t wait long for it to be brought to the table, after the meal we sat outside in the smart beer garden in the sun, I tried the guest ales
Good pub,decent enough food and the prices were great,enjoyed our visit overall,only let down by a staff member commenting "why are loads of people with dogs coming in today?" when she seen us,not the most welcoming reception we've ever had.

Chris is doing a wonderful job, the atmosphere was brilliant, the food was excellent and served very fast and the drinks went down a treat. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend if in the area.

Food was amazing... we had fish & chips and my autistic son had cheesy garlic bread. Staff were so kind & friendly. We'll definitely go back
