Sainsbury's Cafe - Sunderland - Photo album

As far as supermarkets go this is definitely one of the better ones. Ample free parking, very spacious store and rarely feels busy. Self scan system is a breeze if you have a nectar card. In house Argos is a bonus. Good selection of home wares and clothing too and there's an on site petrol station.
I love the Sainsbury's and I love the deals using the smart scan app. My young boys love going up and down the travelators and they have a big choice in this store. It's never too busy or overcrowded. The petrol is normally one of the cheapest in town.
Went to Argos inside to pick up an item for my daughters birthday. Decided to go and do a little shopping whilst I was there. My 5 year old son was zapped by a member of staff for making lots of noise....he loved it! My son asked him his name, and he said his name was Tony, but my 5 year old changed
Some products have reduced quantities. 32 washing tablets in box I had to fight to open rather than 38. 200g of butter instead of 250. Fine otherwise.
Excellent place to enjoy with with a amazing shopping experience to get all of your items delivered and bring you a happy day with a smile
Nice and empty (of customers), so browsing not stressful. Good quality food...especially when reduced less than 50% due to Use By date. Soups are especially good value with quality own brand being 57p (April 2023).
Good Sainsburys store. Clean and well laid out. Great choice of produce. Friendly staff. Covered parking which is a real bonus on rainy days, and in the winter.
This would formally would have been 5 stars with the stunning vista of Northern Spire and the Wear Valley from the cafe. Alas this can now only be enjoyed from the carpark. The selection is wide and the aisles wider. There maybe a small Argos and Habitat consession coming soon. Pharmacy and fuel als
Easy access, loads of free parking. Have a good range of vegan products, and not as expensive as people think.
Plenty of parking spaces available. Petrol station with long-reach hoses, so can park and fill on either side of the car.. Friendly service and helpful staff when I visited. They've got a clothing and homeward dept., and an instore Argos shop.
It's my favourite place to shop as it's never too crowded and you can always find what you need Also, lately, the added bonus is the new nectar prices ... saving you on your shopping
Very good deal for me saved £s.
Nice and clean shop really limited when you want certain things even though it’s a big shop staff are sometimes hard to find
This Sainsburys has an Argos store inside. The staff were very friendly, professional and would recommend this store. Never had a bad experience with anyone. Good choice of food but fresh fruit and veg produce can be more expensive but lasts that little bit long than the budget stores.
