Really bad food, used to love clems but just been in today and the fish were cooked terribly. Small fish had more bounce then a rubber ball, large fish needed a chisle to break through the batter. Very disappointed

Chips and chips with homemade tartar sauce in the restaurant very tasty for £6.75 5 stars there. No contactless payment and disappointed that no Heinz ketchup which I had to pay extra for instead of the free cheap option. Staff very helpful and friendly.

If you want great tasting fish and chips then this is the place to go. No pun intended. Nice clean Fish Shop in the heart of Front Street, Chester-le-Street. Tasty fish & chips. Social distancing is tight when queueing as the shop is quite narrow. Helpful friendly staff. Payment is cash only & has been for a long time, their sign says they need a new card machine.
