Celebrated Valentine’s Day with friend and family at Venice Italian Restaurant. First of all the place so romantic for Valentine’s and beat things are the food was so delicious with charming and friendly staff

I'm in Sunderland for one evening, and this beautiful Italian restaurant is right next door to the travellodge Hotel.
I need to say, I'm very happy with my experience. Headed straight away, not a massively overpacked menu so wasn't overwhelming whilst choosing my dinner, and the quality of my start and main were second to none. All the food tasted fresh, and came out lovely and hot and I liked not to quick, I got to enjoy my beer and enjoy the environment of the restaurant. My carbonara was cooked perfectly, and even though I'm only here for one night, I would definitely return and recommend to try other dishes.

PS, the price does not match the quality, much more affordable that I was expecting and the quality was superb.

We went for a family lunch of 11, very noisy bunch lol. Fabulous food, great service and yummy cocktails.
We have just had a Sunday lunch delivered. Lots of veg which I liked. Yorkshire pudding and gravy was delicious. Lots left for tomorrow’s tea too. Thank you to the team for making my Sunday easier and brighter. Now for a lie down - ps delivery driver was polite and friendly too xxxx
Had a brilliant meal yesterday 22 April 23. Cracking food, service and the craic was 2nd to none. Thanks to Angela for making us feel so welcome. Highly recommended.
We went last night for my friends 60th .The young lady behind the bar put up birthday banners for her what we thought was lovely. The food was amazing .the service was excellent . Will definitely recommend this hidden gem well done to all the staff
Came today and had the Mussels for starter which were absolutely beautiful. I had a calzone pizza main which was extremely filling and again beautiful. The service was absolutely superb. We had the Malbec wine which I would highly recommend! All round absolutely fantastic experience, couldn’t rate more highly.
Food was beautiful & pipping hot. Staff are friendly & very attentive.

Family of 4 had Sunday lunch. Kids portions were huge. Me and the wife had the potato skin starter and the beef dinner. Unbelievable! Tasty, plenty of gravy and veg. Can not fault any of it. The price was a bargain too. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. Will be back again soon.
First time here, impressed with the friendly staff. Pizzas are very good, large starter portions too. Nice room upstairs, we had an very relaxed evening. Recommended.
Back again on 8th April, just as nice, good spicy Lucifer pizza, free parking opposite, and am Easter raffle! Recommended.

Not our first visit in the last gew weeks, consistently good food, good value and lovely staff.
Had beautiful meal at this cosy welcoming restaurant.All ingredients you can tell are freshly prepared with care and attention to detail.The menu is reasonably priced and even bottled wine is reasonable staff are lovely visit this absolute gem you won't be disappointed.
Food and service fantastic. Definitely go back.
