Had a fantastic meal this evening with my best friend and our sons.
There was a great selection on the menu and the food was so fresh.

Food was brilliant and has great gluten free options! The staff were really attentive and friendly, really looked after us. It's a perfect location for a walk in the great park / Virginia water - dog loved it! They have quiz and chess nights too. Thank you to the Duke team, we'll be back again :) 10/10
I love coming here. I live locally and it’s always nice to come because the food is so great. The drinks lines are cleaned, it’s not overpriced, they change the menu often and it’s always great service. Thanks to Andreas and team!

This is such a refreshing local pub, the food is all home cooked and fresh using local ingredients.

The Duke is the new place to be in Sunninghill. This is the community pub we have been waiting for. Since being re-opened by the wonderful new landlord, Andras, he's hosted 2 special events for me. My book launch and my Mum's wake. Both experiences were incredible and the book launch was the best party I've held! If you are looking for a venue for a party, or more cosy celebration, this is your place. It is also great for a drink even if you are on your own. It is so friendly and everyone is always welcome and the staff and chefs are amazing! we love you all at the Duke. x
Had a lovely two c o u r s e meal here today even better it is 33% of two courses Monday till Thursday.

Great local pub although I was disappointed not to see the guy who's headshot is the cover photo on Google, what a legend. Jokes aside the staff are always very friendly and the drinks served promptly.
All the (5 star!) reviews really are representative of this wonderful pub! The ambiance is great, the gentleman and lady serving were genuinely smiley, polite and efficient. And to cap it all I thought I'd end up with a tab much higher than it actually was. On a personal level, it's even better as we can easily walk to it (but not sure about back 😁!)
