Wonderful meal at Doosra Indian Restaurant in Surbiton last night. We could be in Best Curry Ever territory! Fish Bhajia starter then Tanzanian Lamb Curry and Cauliflower Gobi with buttered Tandoori Roti with draft Cobra and bottled Tusker Kenyan lager. Wonderful food, all about flavour and not just spicy heat, a great interior design and really friendly owner. A must visit restaurant! 😎🥘🍺

Great food, good value and superb service. Our waiter was super helpful with explaining the menu and gave some great recommendations. I'd 100% recommend this place to anyone. We are looking forward to returning. The butter chicken and lamb curry recommended were both incredible

Delicious food. Friendly service. To top it off the manager contacted us to say we’d lost some property and very kindly posted the item to us! Will definitely be visiting again. Our new Indian!

6/5 stars! Very happy we found this place, if not annoyed we didn't find it sooner. We seemed to be the only people there that weren't returning customers. Great vibes, staff were happy even if it was busy. Food is to die for. Go for the Fish Bhajia and try the Lamb Tanzanian curry. We'll be back.

Great food and take away was smooth. We ordered a variety of tandoori dishes and curry. Great garlic naan also. The mini poppadams are recommended too. Easy online ordering system. Also food is packaged in recyclable paper boxes, a nice touch for the environment.

High quality, authentic dishes served with a twist. Nourishing ingredients and delicate layered flavours. The vegetarian samosas are to die for so is the tilapia. We had the tanzanien lamb curry and chicken Malai / butter chicken and garlic naan with Merlot to compliment them- all stunning. Can’t wait to go back. Excellent value for money.

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in London. Its menu changes often and there aren't many things you will recognise from a high street BIR curry house. Instead, there is a selection of interesting dishes which the owner is happy to explain and which are all delicious.

Absolutely love this place! The food is brilliant! Tender and flavorful meat in curry, mild spicy dishes which is great for people who can’t eat very spicy food like me. My favourite starter is garlic mogo chips with toppings. Thank you so much!

I enjoyed the Chicken Samosas as a starter and then having the Fish Bajia. As a drink I had a Mango Lassi and a Lemonade. For my main course I had a Murgh Makhani with rice and the Garlic and Coriander butter Naan. The only way it would have been better is if I could eat it every day! I will definitely be coming back here soon. My favourite place!!!

Limited menu but what they do is fantastic. We had a variety of starters and the then the Chicken Makhani and the Lamb Tanzania. The latter was tender and pretty hot but so well balanced.

Just had a takeaway from Deliveroo. The meal was prepared very quickly and delivered by a smiling driver. The food was excellent - fresh, tasty and delivered in compostable packaging. Will definitely order from here again

Truly stunning Indian cuisine! Do yourself a favour and try it. I have been to Doosra on several occasions in the context of being their photographer and have therefore been lucky enough to sample lots of the menu. Honestly, you can’t go wrong, every dish is vibrant fresh and delicious. I would highlight the Tanzanian Lamb Curry and Bhindi Gosht, but there is so much other wonderful food on the menu too.

Tried it for the 1st time today after being recommended by friends. I've been to numerous Indian restaurants before but hands down to this one, food is packed with flavours and taste buds we're flying with every bite! Had the pleasure as well to meet the owner while was waiting for my takeaway, such a beautiful person! Well done guys, will be back for sure!

We recently enjoyed a curry by post from Doosra. The food arrived chilled and carefully packaged, and a quick & simple reheat meant we could enjoy a fantastic, restaurant quality meal in our home. The dishes were all absolutely delicious. I really appreciated the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with packaging so that it is environmentally friendly. A really nice treat for those who live out in the sticks and miss having a range of dining options. Will be ordering again soon!

Fantastic all round experience. Food was wonderfully flavourful, packed with diverse flavours from healthy ingredients. Great food and for a very reasonable price I also loved the consideration for the packaging with eco friendly containers and bags for take-aways. Service was also very personable with generous staff offering a free drink whilst i waited for my order - i had arrived early and food was prepared exactly when they had predicted. Will definitely be returning and suggest you do too!

In previously went for dinner at Doosra and during lockdown been having a crave for proper naan bread.. my craving was satisfied with Doosra's take away. I ordered online and went to pick it up. The team is welcoming and food was on time. Hand sanitizers were available everywhere and it felt safe. Food was amazing as usual. I'm a fan of paneer and this saag paneer was fabulous. I would definitely recommend going there. All their curries are lovely and the best indian restaurant I've been in Kingston/Surbiton area where one can eat for a reasonable price.

I’ve been there for for a meal out with my girlfriend and a couple of good friends . Very caring and attentive owner who really pays attention to the guests feedbacks and suggestions For starters I definitely recommend prawns ! For the main you must try the Tanzanian curry , it is packed with flavours and melts in your mouth also chicken saag is delicious! We’ve been drinking icy cold Heineken and champagne I’ll definitely pay the visit again very soon!
