Delicious food in a homely setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and very accomodating with some of our groups strange requests! The landlord was very friendly and spent time chatting to us. They even brought a small bowl of sunday lunch meat out for our dog to enjoy. Highly recommended.

I visited this pub 5 years ago on a trip around the North. I had wanted to visit the site of the WWII bomber base (RAF East Moor) where my dad was stationed as a Canadian airman during the war. I knew there wasn’t much to see there, but I wanted to experience it anyway. After going to East Moor, I t
