Great hotel, on the side of a canal where you can hire a boat/kayak, fantastic for summer activities. Awesome food with very nice staff and a good selection of bar taps. The rooms were fabulous apart from the fact if you have really noisy people outside in the beer garden you can hear everything this is from the single glazed windows I suppose ?

A lovely atmosphere and great setting. The rooms are clearly being updated with some lovely touches. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast was well cooked and hot. The breakfast room was a little chilly but plenty of space. A really beautiful piece of wood in the corner too. Great that dogs are welcome too. We had a meal in the pub in the evening which was great value and hot. A really good relaxing environment.

I stayed here whilst on a business trip. The hotel is very good. I was in room 2 which was nicely decorated and clean. Rooms are refreshed on request so you can request this at breakfast time. The bar was good with a good range of beers and friendly locals too. It is dog friendly so expect some mutts in the bar. There was a separate restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was very good but they don’t serve on a Monday evening. Last table booking is 7:30pm. My stay was good with no concerns. The staff are very friendly and helpful so I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

Amazing place, riverside location. Short drive to all local places of interest. Ideal location for exploring coast and countryside including the broads. Excellent staff, very good menu for lunches and evening meals. Wide selection of beverages, alcoholic and non alcoholic. It’s very popular with people using the broads and the local populace.

***Excellent food***, great kids play area, friendly helpful staff, don't forget to book if you want a table. We went here after luckily finding a mooring spot for the night on the boat, took the last table as a family of 4 with a child who has food allergy, the staff where exceptionally helpful and food was excellent highly recommend as it was some of the best food we have had recently

I honestly booked the stay based on the low room rate per night. I was pleasantly surprised a the good standard of rooms. Though a couple of badly cracked tiles in our shower let the room down. The bar staff were efficient and friendly. We ate evening meals once and they were good meals. 3 main meals and deserts were under £90.00 The breakfast included in the room rates were of a good standard. Buffet style cereal etc. with order for cooked breakfast cooked to yor order.

Absolutely lovely place to sit outside and have a drink or food. We visited here whilst mooring up on the broads for the night and it was absolutely beautiful, drinks a little expensive but well worth it for the ambience, we sat outside in the gorgeous sunshine in the late afternoon and it really was amazing. Thank you.

Booked this for a short break to visit family. Hotel and Bar staff all very welcoming and friendly, and very accommodating even with us having a 3 year old boy. Family room was spacious and clean, and bar/restaurant was easily accessible from different access points from the rooms, depending where you are located. Ceiling and door heights low in some places for people of "taller" proportions, such as myself 😂, but this comes with the character and age of the property. Restaurant menu was varied, and the food was lovely. Breakfast had a good selection of choices and should cater for most tastes. They were very helpful in ensuring that even my little boy could have something from a kids choice of menu. Would not hesitate to revisit and use as a base for travels. Thank you to the team at the hotel. Wish we could have stayed for longer ☺

Had food at the pub tonight with family who're staying in the hotel, we all had different things and they were all amazing!! The curries & the Indian starter were definitely the stars of the night though. Also the lovely staff member we had was on the bar and serving food and was fast and so lovely! Couldn't be happier
