Been here today for a Sri Lankan 🇱🇰 Kotthu break and it was the best. The quantity, taste and the service we received was quite promising. If you are going to Illakkiya, don't forget to try their Mutton Kotthu. Nice seating options, kind and helpful staff. I would recommend Illakiya Sri Lankan restaurant to fulfill your Sri Lankan taste buds.. 👍

Hands down this meal is amazing. Located in a nice area. As usual call in advance and so they have the meal ready for when you arrive. The food is authentic and most of all delicious and affordable 👍

Genuine tamilian flavours with dishes having the right level of spices. They really use a variety of spices rather than just adding more chilli to make hot food like your typical Bangla curry houses. Each dish has its own distinctive flavour, albeit with a South Indian/Sri Lankan touch. Portion sizes are generous and food is priced quite reasonable. Staff are courteous, can't find a fault. If I am splitting hair, I'll mention that the chapatis don't seem as good as the other dishes. But then I don't expect a north Indian chapati for a restaurant of this cuisine. Order idli, wada, dosa, or any rice dish and you won't be disappointed.

Fast service, and the food was quite tasty. We had the mutton fry, hoppers, plain dosa, and putty. The accompanying verges were spicy and full of flavour! Exactly what we wanted. Will definitely be coming back again.

First time there. Food was fabulous and good quality. We ordered the kudal curry which we've not had before turns out to be lamb intestines!! It was lovely and we'd definitely get again. Loved the veechu roti as well as the fish curry and mutton kothu. Sri lankan food is very very hot but still tasty. Bring it on

If you are into Spicy food. This place is a food Heaven you been looking for.. 😎 My favourite is 1. Lamb Rice special (which has Lamb plus various other meat as well) 2. Mixed Devil... I am absolutely adicted to these two dishes as my Saturday night special...

We tried some takeaway food from Illakiya, recently, for the first time and were impressed both with its quality and the authenticity. Portion sizes were generous and the cost was very reasonable. So we will be using this restaurant again and look forward to having a sit-down meal there, once lock-down restrictions have been lifted

Good service, great taste and good portions. There is renovations going on currently, but you can get a takeaway. Ask for the days special, it’s worth trying.

Great food, friendly people, cheap prices! Not like your 'traditional' High St. restaurant, this focuses on authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, offering tasty food at very affordable prices. Decor is very basic but doesn't detract from the experience. Introduced to this by my brother - cheers!

Amazing lamprice. Lots of meat for every mouth full. Unlike other places these guys focus on quality with lots of quality cuts of meats equal ant to the amount of rice. Best £7.99 I’ve spent. The mutton Kothu also have lots of meat and the mutton rolls are crunchy. I’ve tried many lamprices in Surrey, and this is properly the best so far. Keep up the good work!

Had a great experience! Two people stuffed to the gills for only £15, and I eat a lot. The staff were very friendly and happily talked us through each item on the menu. Although there was a party of about 16 next to us they made sure our food came out on time, couldn't recommend more.

Fantastic food. Bursting with flavours! Bit of a down side we had to wait at least 45 mins for the food to arrive . But everything was cooked fresh, tasted delicious. Next time take away and I'll call them for collection.
