The California - Sutton - Photo album

Had the Sunday roast, beef was a little dry. They had forgotten the pigs and blankets but then gave some extra. Overall food was good, kids were happy with there meals. Waiting time was a little long, but it's good to have the time and actually talk with no devices. Staff friendly.
Our local pub, we don't eat here but visit regularly for a glass of wine or three. Lots of room in the garden for when the sun's shining. Prices are reasonable, especially with the online offers. Staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
Lovely pub, well kept with a good drink selection and excellent food. The service is always top-notch and its just got a nice feel to it, though I always tend to go at quieter times, so I don't know what it's like when busy. It is a little bit more expensive than the average Sutton pub - but that is
The California is a great local pub. Izabella & the team are always welcoming. The pub is good value, but if you have the Ember Inns app it’s even better. The menu is varied - pub classics but with modern twists. There are set menus from approx £13. In good weather the beer garden is a hidden gem -
Went with two friends on a Friday afternoon not very busy but staff were friendly and the place is quite comfortable and clean. Food basically the same as any chain pub but we enjoyed ourselves and would be happy to go back
I visited each day whilst looking after my brother's dog as it's location next to Banstead Common is perfect for a liquid pit stop for thirsty dog walkers. The staff were very helpful in bringing a water bowl out to the garden, and the other customers are friendly giving Gloucester lots of attention
Pictures shown do not do the pub justice. We were in the quiet area, which was perfect for the company we were keeping. There are 3 main areas the bar and seats. LH side is a nice bright room with plenty of tables. RH side is spacious seating unlike weather spoons. There are a few TVs around Good si
I arrived with five walking friends and we had an enjoyable, relaxing Monday afternoon here - very good food and friendly and efficient service. Shame there was no real ale available though.
Nice atmosphere. Food was great. Highly recommend the wings and chips. Excellent. Barman called Bobby made a great cocktail. Highly recommended
Such a lovey place to dine in and a perfect place to chill out and get a few drinks with friends. They’ve got a good selection of whisky so if you enjoy a whisky this place is excellent.
