Ice & Slice At The Kiln

Booked as a family meal. I won't say what was bad as I think that should be saved in lesson to your waiter, which I did share. What I can say is they will go beyond to make your visit decent and fair. Although I didn't get what I wanted, what I did get to replace that was 10/10 customer service. I might go and rettempt the place as it has some nice choices and delicious cocktails

We booked for the bottomless prosecco lunch. Plenty of menu choices and drinks free flowing. Our waitress(young lady from Latvia) answered all of our questions re dietry issues without hesitation and was most helpful. She could not do enough for us and the level of service was amazing. Very enjoyable and would recommend.

Tonight, we attended the Smokehouse Event, and it was the first time we had eaten here. We were blown away by the food, the deep south atmosphere, and the incredibly creative drinks. I rarely touch any alcohol much less whiskey, so the fact I drank a few says all it needs to. The restoration of such an old & historically significant building was clearly a labour of love. The staff were amazing. They were attentive efficient, incredibly polite, and nothing was too much trouble. This is a rare gem of a restaurant where we will mostly certainly become regulars.
