Really nice pub, there was alot of wasps in the garden though, maybe they need to phone pest control and give them a free pint or something to sort it out.
I enjoyed a beer in here on several occasions. But today was Sunday lunch. Busy rural pub 15 mins south of Reading. Car park packed and only able to park on the road. Absolutely superb. Friendly staff, swift service - despite the crowd. And very high quality food. I enjoyed the G&D burger - absolute
Brilliant food and drink, lovely atmosphere, dog friendly, excellent service. Would highly recommend!
This was my first visit since the George & Dragon was acquired by the Siren Brewery and what a pleasant surprise from my previous visit. It has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent. I had the pea and ham soup and the other diner had the rarebit, which

Great atmosphere and lovely secluded garden. Great selection of very tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices, staff were smiley and friendly - made us feel really welcome. We will be back soon!
The best Sunday roast for miles around, and brewery fresh beer on cask, keg and in bottles. Highly recommend Broken Dream on cask!
What beer there is remains as good as ever, but there's no Broken Dream 😕 Great beer, and pretty good food in a real fire/craft ale kind of atmosphere. Some of the team serving were clearly new so a few things got briefly forgotten but hopefully those kinds of things will get ironed out quickly. Mor
Wonderful Old English Country pub serving delicious food and great local beer.
Our lunch group of 11 had lunch today at the George and Dragon and we all rated our food choices and the service very highly. Ten of us had chosen 2 courses each from the set menu , which were ordered in advance. The eleventh member of our group chose a main from the a La carte menu ( pre-ordered) a
