Had an absolutely amazing meal here tonight, the service was perfect. Nice friendly face and helpful with my questions about the menu as I need gluten free food. Lots of gluten free starters, mains and puddings too which is hard to find nowadays, also it is advertised as GF on the menu… didn’t haven
Very nice place! Everyone of 7 us enjoyed the food but couple of things I did not get: 1. Why beer was brought in the glass if it is a bottle beer? I love drinking from the bottle an 2. Why lasagna had cheddar cheese not mocarela? It really ruined a good dish of lasagna.
This place is awesome. We went for a meal last night, and we were blown away. It was the best homemade meals any of us have tasted. We ordered 2 x ribeye steaks, homemade lasagne, and a Hunters chicken. They were all fantastic. We had rung about 5 other places before finding this one. Lucky for us.
Our last night in Swanage and thank goodness we found this little gem for dinner. Meal portions are huge, but the quality is exceptional. We were so full, and I was so disappointed I couldn’t fit in dessert. The staff were so lovely, it’s just a shame we didn’t find it at the beginning of our holida

Booked our meal easily enough. Menu had a great selection of meals along with the evening specials. Although busy service was very efficient.

Really good value for money - half a kilo Rump Steak for £18!! My prawn tempura was fresh and cooked to perfection. Best call ahead and make a reservation - they were even fully booked on a Tuesday night.
Friendly service with a smile. Great value. A three course meal with a drink for just over £20 pp. Try the Homemade pâté and the Hunter chicken was delicious.

We had a lovely family meal here. Our vegetarian curries were delicious. Service was spot on and the touches for the children were great with them having smaller cutlery and even some jellies for Halloween on the way out. We would definitely recommend.
The food was lovely, the staff are great, unfortunately when we went there was a huge, very loud party of 20 or so people so it was tricky to hear what anyone was saying.
What a lovely place to eat! We had the friendliest service and truly delicious food. It's excellent homestyle cooking, which really hit the spot after 2 days of fine dining.
