Gee Whites - Swanage - Photo album

We had 2 really good meals here. The first was an evening meal without the kids. There was a group from the RNLI singing shanties which added to the atmosphere. We liked it so much we took the kids for lunch the next day. The food was good, the drinks were good. There was no table service but the
Wonderful food enjoyed sitting looking out over Swanage Bay. It can get very busy which is why the service rating loses a star as there was only one person taking orders. Having said that, the wait was worth it and this place has become one we return to regularly.
Great seafood restaurant right on the seafront. We had an outdoor table overlooking the bat and a small stone jetty. It was a sunny early evening and the setting was fabulous. The sea bass was very good and my mussels were great. I would certainly recommend. It's far more than the fish n chip restau
We didn't have food but there's a Nice terrace bar. Friendly staff and relaxing with a nice view. We'll worth a visit.
Excellent fish and chips if you stay at ground floor. Upper level has more refined choices with much smaller portions of you are not that hungry… Very affordable wine list, house rose is pretty decent if you fancy dry wines. good view on the sea / harbour.
Great place! Loved the food and drinks and also the location and views obviously. We had drinks upstairs then headed downstairs to eat (had our 2 year old with us so the menu downstairs is better for him but the menu upstairs looks gorgeous). They actually made an error and forgot to push our order
Fab roof terrace, helpful and friendly staff. Great views over Swanage and delicious food.
Absolutely amazing food, wonderful friendly service and the most amazing views when you eat upstairs. The portions were a good size, the food was fresh and it came quickly. It wasn’t too expensive either. The sauce in the fish I had I couldn’t leave alone. Good job they served lots of freshly baked
It's a busy restaurant so there's normally a bit of a wait but definitely worth it and busy for a reason. Food is great and would highly recommend. I travel to Swanage once/twice a year and always stop by gee whites.
Popped in here to grab a bite eat and we were pleasantly surprised - food was fresh and tasty, and the views out to sea were life affirming innit. We easily found a table, food came fast and the restaurant seems to functioned well rejigged for Covid - overall would recommend
We always have fish & chips here when in Swanage. It's not cheap but always excellent quality and the cod enormous and in lovely crisp batter. The view across the bay to the Purbecks from the tables at the rear of the restaurant is fantastic on a good day. Well worth a visit
Great coffee but only one member of staff doing any work! The others were experts in slow timing to look busy while doing nothing. I told him he should ask for a share of their wages as he was doing all the work. Won't go there again.
Always a great place to eat, or just enjoy a glass of wine. Warning, it does get busy though. I love breakfast here, when the good staff are on. The food is wonderful, the owners really nice. Sometimes at dinnertime it gets too busy and some of the staff are not as service focused, but its still g
Fantastic location overlooking the bay and a varied and reasonably priced menu. I had the tuna steak (cooked to order, excellent!) served with chips and a salad, and my wife had a jacket potato loaded with a generous portion of tuna. Perfect for a quick bite or lingering meal and the view can't be b
The seafood is so fresh! All food is tasty and over expectation. Be aware of the sea gulls trying to steal your food!
Wow! What a place to sit and eat, this restaurant will not disappoint you! Family of 4 (adults) had a mixture of food, pizza was amazing! Better than an Italian restaurant! Was not expecting that! The life boat burger was the best we ever had! The restaurant itself over looks the bay, with plenty of
