Apart from running out of real beer during the "Wickham Fair" weekend it's been a long time since I've been to the Hunters.
The drinks cost was very reasonable, It's clean and fresh, the staff are friendly and there's a nice outdoor seating area. Not yet tried the food but will return soon.
The Hunters is a country pub. I had whitebait for starters, then hog roast and strawberry cheesecake cake for dessert. It was all really tasty. We went quite early on a Sunday, so it was quite empty but began to fill up around 1-ish.
Fabulous meal, was even tempted to a rare treat from the dessert menu. Really good value.

What a lovely place to come and eat. Staff were fantastic and accomodating of our large group. Food was tasty and plentiful. Just a lovely allround experience.
