We stayed overnight in the hotel and also ate breakfast and had a pudding with drinks the night we arrived. There are a few little cosmetic things that could do with touching up in the hotel (going by our room) but it was very clean and the room we had was extremely spacious with a MASSIVE bathroom. The bed was very comfy! Food-wise, though we didn’t have a dinner there, we were really impressed. The breakfast easily surpasses pretty much any hotel breakfast selection I’ve had anywhere - the kedgeree was delicious! My partner had perfectly poached eggs on toast with a cheese sauce and loved his too. The pudding wed had the night before was also brilliant - I had a lemon and elderflower tart and my partner had a cheese board. He was especially delighted to be allowed to switch one of the cheeses (blue, which he doesn’t like) with extra cheddar! We found the staff to be really genuinely friendly and helpful, bending over backwards to make our stay more comfortable. We even loved the range of tea and coffee in the room, and the fact fresh milk was provided in a fridge rather than UHT.

What a find, lovely hotel right on the sea front in Mumbles. Large comfy room with king size bed. Big roomy bathroom with large walk in shower and a bath. Super food served by really friendly staff who were very attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Five minutes walk to shops and direct access to the Wales Coast Path. Bracelet bay, Langland bay and Caswell bay all within walking distance depending on how energetic you're feeling. We had very high spring tides whilst we were there combined with beautiful sunsets We will certainly be going back.

Really lovely stay at this seafront hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Rooms were really clean and comfortable. Special shout out for Sally who went the extra mile for two old birds!! Only downside is no parking.

What amazing staff you have, from amazing sisters front of house (still would never work with mine) to the chefs and other staff. When we arrived we were told that we were in the boathouse. We weren't happy as booked on booking.com and were told all rooms wheelchair friendly not true so please check before you arrive if you have mobility issues. The annexe was up a steep slope and our room was then on 2nd floor. Staff did try and move us but they were fully booked. Would definitely stay again but would ring hotel first. Due to Covid breakfast was delivered to the room on a tray which was nice but I did miss my full breakfast. Rooms were clean and stunning view of sea from our juliet balcony. Food in restaurant was amazing and staff were helpful with my allergy. Thanks again for a lovely few days.

Staff were lovely and looked after us and my elderly mum brilliantly. I liked the characterful individual decor in the rooms. It is on a road, so there's some traffic noise, but it didn't stop us getting a good night's sleep. Not for you if you are looking for seclusion, but it's a gem of a hotel in the heart of a very pleasant seaside town.

We found the staff to be friendly helpful efficient and courteous. Every request was met with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. We will stay again soon. The room was well kitted out with everything we needed including a lovely comfortable bed. It was more like a suite with a pretty sofa and coffee table. The view is of course spectacular from the higher up rooms. The food is delicious. First class chef 👍🏼

We stayed in room 5b, which is well worth the price .. it's large with a luxurious bathroom and great view to wake up to. Our stay was made even better by the happy, smiley staff who were always available to help. Onto the food... Wow, it was scrummy...the dinner was made with fresh ingredients and so well cooked, we also had breakfast during our stay which was equally as delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay

Patrick's is fab and the staff couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. The restaurant serves great food and delicious wine. Recommend as it's a wonderful spot for a long weekend or short break in Mumbles, close to beach front, quirky shops and stunning walks.

Such a lovely and welcoming hotel - super big room with a comfy bed and table and chairs by the window, delicious food in the restaurant/bar and very friendly staff who made us feel at home throughout. Location is absolutely perfect, right on the promenade and walking distance to all Mumbles’ attractions, and to Swansea along the beach when the tide’s out. The hotel’s approach to Covid-19 was also excellent - hand sanitiser on each floor, a massive tasty breakfast delivered as room service (with a very good Welsh Rarebit as a veggie option) and, unlike many restaurants doing the ‘Eat Out to Help Our’ scheme, a limit to evening covers and layout which ensured safe distancing. If we visit Swansea and Mumbles again, we’ll certainly choose to stay here again. Thank you!

Family run boutique hotel and restaurant. Service and food superb, good value, overlooking Mumbles bay. Often call in just for coffee. A touch of comfortable sophistication and elegance. It's our favourite place! Have recommended to everyone we know and anyone that's been there loves it. Just had lunch for four of us and we spent over three hours altogether including coffee in the lounge afterwards. Lovely!

The rooms are spacious and well thought out. All are decorated individually (out party had 4 rooms and all were different) with lots of clever touches. The staff were friendly and helpful and I will definitely come back for a romantic weekend with my wife.

Lovely independent hotel. Room spacious and comfortable. Nice to have somewhere that has some individualism. Down side, and the reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is that there is no parking - have to use public car park over the road

What a gem of a place! Views from our room in the Boat House over the Bay were amazing. Room was decorated and equipped to a high standard. A family run business with the personal touch. Very welcoming staff who were highly professional. Great food the Wood Pidgeon starter was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

Yesterday I took 5 friends to Patricks for a birthday Afternoon Tea. We were quite fussy about the menu as 2 of us didnt eat red meat and 1 friend was gluten-free. Our meal was absolutely wonderful and so were the staff. I would thoroughly recommend as all the food was superb. I am hoping one of the friends will be hosting their birthday at Patricks very soon!!

We booked this Hotel because it looked lovely in the photos and good reviews! The first thing be careful of is the parking or lack of it! You can park outside on the front if your very lucky! Or you pay to park in the car park opposite!! The reception in the hotel was good and the staff friendly. The restaurant looks very nice and the food delicious( we eat one evening) quite pricey though!breakfast in our room because of covid was OK only! I would have enjoyed breakfast so much more if in the restaurant but not possible at this time! I like more choice! I had to ask for fruit! Reluctantly I had an egg cup full! Now the room we stayed in was in the boat house up a very steep driveway (be careful if your struggling as it is very very steep!! with lovely views across the bay! The bed is big with fresh linen and comfy! The room and bathroom are large. It was clean. I didn't like the bathroom colour red walls and ceiling made it very dark! The shower was very good with shower and bath gels provided! Think a new paint job would make this room look much nicer! Hotel is in a central position for walking I.e. The Mumbles walks and The gower! Is beautiful.

Really friendly staff. We were up before breakfast so they made us sandwiches. More than we could eat. Evening meal was lovely and be sure you won't go away hungry. Lovely place around.
