Took my elderly mum out for a suprise treat. Perfectly cooked steaks tonight (medium). Everything that came out of the kitchen was first class. Definitely recommend. Thank you. Will be back next time I'm home to visit Swansea.
Visited as a group of four - two teenagers, a senior and an adult on two occasions recently.
Staff were very friendly and always are. They are always accommodating and will assist where changes to the menu are required.

Great pub to wine and dine in, unfortunately food takes a while to come out so you are waiting a long time which is difficult with young children. Pleasant and friendly staff with a welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed the burgers, would recommend.

The new Manager - Glenn is so friendly and enthusiastic and has made an enormous difference to the running of the Hen Dderwen.
Iv had a few meals there which have been very nice,well presented and always hot.

A few kids took over the place, hence
4 star for atmosphere.

Absolutely outstanding experience here would 100% eat here again! The establishment has been taken over by new management and I couldn’t be happier, I had the mega mixed grill so compliments to the chef filled me up well and truly, the service and experience I had here was a 10/10
