Denny's

We went late evening, so the place was winding down. Exactly what you'd expect when you picture the classic American dinner. You could either call it a cheap restaurant or expensive fast food. My pregnant girlfriend was feeling a bit down, and the excellent sundae really raised her spirit. My burger was fantastic and the bottomless coffee was welcomed.

Would have been 5 stars, but the service was incredibly slow. It took 55 minutes for our food to be delivered to the table, and our drinks order didn't all come out together, we did all get milkshakes though, but it took 20 minutes between getting our first one's to getting our last one. The food, however, is delicious. The burgers are to die for. And the milkshakes are super tasty too. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is an option to order through the app, which is what we used to order, or go up to the counter to order. The one other small fault other than the long waiting times, the taps in the ladies trickled out water? Could barely wash my hands. Will definitely be returning!

Really enjoyed our time at Denny’s! We booked a table online and were seated immediately by a very welcoming waiter. I love the fact that they do all day breakfast - it was 3pm but I had bueno waffles and they were amazing! I couldn’t eat more than half, so I asked for a takeaway box and was given a very sturdy cardboard box. The service from the waiter who served us was also very good - he was very friendly and got us everything we asked for. I wouldn’t go here if you are expecting a fast food place as it is set up as a proper restaurant but if you want an American experience I would definitely recommend.

Having been to dennys in America many times I was sceptical as to if the UK version would be any good, I was wrong the food is spot on and is extremely authentic to the states, we drove from Bristol and it was definitely worth it, this is the real deal but without the American service which is the only negative I have.

Walked in nobody around, had to ring bell for service. Was informed NO CASH PAYMENTS. Shown to table by host. Asked if ordered on the app before and left us too it. Did online order easy enough and paid. Within minutes drinks arrived 10 minutes later food at the table. Chicken tenders were huge and tasty freshly cooked along with the fries. Finished food and got up and left. Minimal interaction with staff and only 2 other tables in use.

I don't know where to start.... the food here is epic! Been here twice in under 2 weeks!! Restaurant is massive. Clean and tidy both times. Going back next week! I love how you can order food on the app, it's quick and easy. Food and drinks always come out quick. Never waited more than 15 minutes or so! Staff are lovely, chefs are amazing. I would highly recommend Denny's! They're milkshakes are by far, the best I've ever had. So tasty!!
