Five Guys

Burgers are great. Drink selections seem to always be limited even though they have the coke machines...seems they don't care to fill them. Ordered myself a BLT and it tasted good, but it didn't have a single strip of bacon, just a sandwich full of small bits of bacon that kept falling out of the bun. Also, fries were very soggy...not very appetizing.

My third visit as my elderly Uncle who resides in Bristol always wants burgers when I take him to lunch. But I'm all set with paying $7 for a burger ( yes I DO realize current inflation and the "free toppings) first time we spent close to $25 for 2 junior burgers ONE shared fries (that we didn't finish as they tasted burnt and dry) and ONE drink. Burgers are good, but truthfully its hard to mess up ground beef on a grill between bread. This last time I REFUSED to pay $4 for fries that we'd barely eaten and flipping $2.75 for a soda which cost literally one buck across the plaza at McDonald's which is what we did...especially since it felt like 50 degrees in the place...apparently charging close to $3 for carbonated sugar water doesn't mean the thermostat moves above 65 on a blustery March day. Next time it's a pub burger (fries usually included) at a comfortable sit down local eatery...even with tipping it ll probably break even.

Staff was great! I arrived 20 min before closing and they were enthusiastic and didn’t make me feel like an a** because they were closing in 20 min. But the food? Ay! Unfortunately it was just bad. Very soggy bun, grilled jalapeños were still raw, and fries had that frozen texture in the middle. Just not good all around. For over $12 I wouldn’t go again.
