Review Harper's Steakhouse & Bar Swanwick Marina - Swanwick

Stayed here last weekend with our little dog. The room was lovely with good quality items in there, well thought out. The bed was super comfortable. They had a cute welcome pack for our dog which contained poo bags, a little container of treats and a tennis ball. They had also put a doggy towel and 2 x dog beds for him. The Manager and staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate there on both evenings and the meals were lovely, fresh and tasty. We have another stay there booked and are really looking forward to going back.

Good value & nice atmosphere pub restaurant with very fast & efficient service and good food from choice of menus and offers (at least mid week). Has a good amount of own parking which is free for 4 hours for restaurant/bar users. Near to river Hamble but surrounded by other things so doesn't have views, but is nice atmosphere inside, despite alongside a major A road.

Despite the outside of the building being a little dilapidated, the inside of the premise was clean, tidy, and inviting. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Hollie our waitress, despite being young and us coming with an array of deathly serious allergies, did a fantastic job. The food was very good. In fact, it was one of the best burgers I've had. I don't say this lightly, I was pleasantly surprised with just how good. This will become a frequent haunt and was absolutely worth the slightly higher/premium price. Worth arranging and travelling for 100%

We live local to Swanwick Harper’s and as a single parent household, it’s been a real treat to have the free dessert promotion. The food and atmosphere never disappoint and we both love it a lot!! You may need to have alternative puzzles available on the backside of the printed menu for kids who visit regularly 😉

Great service tonight, our server was Driton, who was very attentive. Food was great and cocktails were fab too. Great location opposite the marina also, would recommend to friends and family.

Nice location and good staff and service. Bit disappointed with the Tacos as was very little pulled pork in them.other meals like Ribs were OK also fish and chips were not that special either. Won't go back as there are other places which are certainly better value and quality.

Great service and the food was really tasty! Prices are very fair and the food was really fine quality and presented beautifully!! We will definitely be going again soon !!

Had my partners birthday meal here and it was fantastic, food was amazing, our waitress Sadie was lovely and attentive. Even went above and beyond to put a candle in his dessert for me, also herself and the other waitresses sang happy birthday. Made it a very special memorable meal and definitely will be back again! So thank you : )

Amazing place. Gorgeously decorated and the food is incredible! Our server was Sabrina and she was really attentive and the service was quick, friendly and professional. She made the evening really special! We treated our mum and dad to a meal and it couldn't have been better! Thank you to the staff there and a big thank you to the chefs!

They are an excellent restaurant, we went last year for our company Christmas lunch, and went back again this year. Wasn't disappointed. Lovely ! The steaks are amazing , the Ice-cream & pudding are very delicious. The prawn cocktail is fresh & well prepared. The calamari was good but not something to my taste.

Driton served us for the majority of the evening on Valentine’s Day. We had a gorgeous Tomahawk Steak. Sides were explained perfectly and suggestions were made accurately. Was happy with the experience as a whole. Very respectful and attentive staff all round. No issues with bill or confusion of order. Very pleased with the evening and food.

Came here for our 2 year anniversary last night for dinner and couldn't fault it. The food was incredible, me and my partner had the 7oz bistro rump steak and it was lovely and cooked to perfection. We arrived early and got to sit down straight away after being welcomed with a smiling face. The service was absolutely great, our server Heidi went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant evening. Will definitely be coming back here in the future and would definitely recommend it to anyone who asks for a great steakhouse.
