We both had a very nice meal, the pub was clean and tidy, friendly bar staff, reasonably price food and drinks, only one criticism - The food was too nice and was plentiful! Just look ar the pics!! 👍👍

Excelent food and service. I loved the fish and chips. And they have a very good craft beer. The place is very nice and music is not loud so you can have a nice conversation with your family or friends. Definitely I recommend it.
The food was a little under whelming, the menu was not good for allergy suffers although the chef was very helpful in providing a meal for my partner

Visited the Rat Trap for the first time in 30 years. The restaurant was very recognisable as the lounge bar we used to frequent in the late 1980s and being an Arkells pub, they still serve the 3Bs I was weaned on! 😜
