A sports bar with music at comfortable level for luncheon. Knowledgeable, attentive and smiling staff where you feel nothing is too much trouble

Very nice food, service was quick and staff very polite. Great that dog's are allowed in. Do have set times for food some food up to 11.30am then lunch from 12,pm to 2.30pm do have good selection of cakes, limited to vegetarian dishes and some sell out quickly we got there at 2pm no Jacket Potatoes left. Good selection of hot drinks though.

Came here this evening after googling best burgers in Swindon, the windmill came up as the second best burger in Swindon and all I can say is I’m not disappointed, if anything I’m surprised it’s not number one! Lovely burger, staff were super attentive and helpful. Alicia couldn’t do enough for us and the other lady behind the bar was happy and having a laugh with the locals which is always lovely to see. Most definitely recommend the Windmill. 10 out of 10 for service and food.

Plenty of food options, little bit disappointed they didn't have one of the mains and puddings we wanted, however, what we did have was really nice and the service was great with a great atmosphere.

Cosy pub, when we went there was a live band. The food was hot and the staff were really nice.
Place was cold though, maybe take an extra layer on a chilly night.

This is the second time we have been here and staff made us feel very welcome. this time they didn't have the food we wanted on the menu and what I ordered come out and was disappointed in the quantity. A handful of chips. Not impressed with the food side this time. But my kids love theirs which is all that matters. We will be back.

Nice pub, good selection of food and beer. Live in Germany, made a change from Bavarian beers.
Been on a visit to see my son who lives nearby, so just legged it over to the windmill and the Tesco.
Last time there in Swindon, at Christmas, received five traffic violations, bus lane and parking from Swindon Council, so I decided to go car free, green for them this time.
