The staff were very helpful and friendly. We turned up with a wheelchair and I probably should have warned the pub in advance (not sure if there was an option to do that when booking online?), but the staff very quickly moved us to a more suitable table. I don’t normally leave reviews but I really was impressed with the staff - I felt they genuinely wanted us to have a lovely visit. The food was also great. Will definitely recommend the pub to friends
Staff were lovely. There was quite a delay between mains and desserts so we had to ask when they were coming, but all was good. Lovely food as usual.
Our only complaint is the lack of suitable food for diabetics. There was no dessert option for our diabetic family member so she had to resort to just having a cup of coffee whilst the rest of us enjoyed a dessert.

Friendly staff, great selection of drinks and food.
The food was well prepared, with healthy (big) portions and tasty.
The only complaint would be a lack of mirrors in the gents.

Apart from having to wait quite a while for anyone to acknowledge us to be seated, the evening was great. Very friendly, helpful, considerate staff. Food arrived quickly (the mains appeared before the starters were cleared though), hot, presented well, tasty and about the right portion sizes. Everyone in our party enjoyed the meal, the venue, the menu, where we were sat and the service. Will definitely return!
The main meals came out with a fantastic presentation. My meal the mega mix grill was definitely mega. I asked for size salad instead of chips and I must say this is the best size salad I have ever had in any other place
Me and my partner came here for the first time yesterday the mix grill I had was the best I've had in years my partner was really happy with her hunters chicken. On top of that our dessert was amazing thank you to the chef, we was very happy with out first visit and will definitely be coming again for our next date night.
Brought my Dad for Sunday lunch. He was in a wheelchair, we had easy access to the table. Waitress and staff were lovely. The lamb was lovely and fell apart when cutting. Very pleasant experience will definitely be back.
We came for a meal after receiving 30% off vouchers. My experience here was greater than I could have ever expected. The place was beautiful, staff were absolutely lovely and so friendly & helpful and the food was to die for and spectacular prices.
Love it here. Always really friendly staff, always excellent food. They have a separate gluten-free and separate vegan menu, which makes ordering really easy.
The food is good. The table we were originally allocated was right next to the kitchen and by a big party so we asked to move as we thought it would be too noisy.
We moved to a table in the snug area which was quieter but darker.
