Had a great meal here again. Family loved all there meals. I was greedy and had the megasaurus,husband had mixed grill. Daughter had a double classic burger younger children had the double cheeseburger and chicken nuggets from kids meals all were full but still room for desserts. Service was amazing even though they were busy. Didnt have to wait to long for food. Everything was cooked to our likings. Place was spotlessly clean and very tidy. Great place will be back soon

The best pub/restaurant in Swindon always great food and fast service and the staff are amazing too they are so friendly and are happy to have a conversation with you,been coming here for years and it's always a great experience
Great place for a quick bite of genuine pub grub. Nice to sit outside on a hot day with lake views. Changing my food review to 1 star. Went for a curry and a pint and was given what looked like dried dog food.
Came for a family meal as my son's choice, food was lovely and staff were friendly and attentive. Amy was super lovely she bought over desserts with a big smile and spent a moment chatting. We will definitely be making a return visit
It's very good value, but you know what the menu is, standard fare. That said, I have always found the staff helpful and polite. My only issue is that it's never open in the morning when it says it is on the Web site. We've tried to get a breakfast at 9.30 a couple of times and they are not open, website advertises 9am.
Quick service, lovely meals on meal deal. Good service. Not my first visit and won't be my last. Cheap and cheerful. Good pub grub.
Very nice visit here with family only thing that is upsetting with this pub is me and my sister ordered and received 2 glasses of one of their mocktails and on the receipt we were charged for a jug of this mocktail. We called over a young girl who says she was management and she went and sorted it out or so we thought . My sister says she still hadn't got refunded two weeks later. Sorry for the late review but she has only just said this to me. The date of visit was 8th September this year
Sophie served us our food and was very pleasant and friendly. Always great service here. We'll be back.
We've been coming to the woodlands edge for many years. Service is always good. We came in on the 15th of July and Charlie was our waiter. Just wanted to add that he is an absolute asset to the woodlands edge very polite young man.

Lovely curry for lunch this afternoon, we had the chicken tikka masala, perfect ratio of curry to rice and the lady on the bar was amazing, definitely be visiting for lunch again soon!
