An excellent carvery as always for Monday lunch with my wife. Food prepared to a high standard, and a very nicely maintained venue. Of course, the staff make it that little more special, so a big shout-out to Aaron - cheers!
No problems at all. Stopped for a carvery on Sunday while travelling, exactly the same as my local Farmhouse inn (even the building!) place was clean enough, staff were friendly. Food was cheap, cooked well, plentiful and tasty.
Exactly what we expected, a good value decent meal. Wouldn't think twice about stopping here next time
Visited today with 5 people with additional needs. Our needs were met perfectly. We had our own area so that the people we support could sit at ease. The staff were attentive and ever so patient. I would like to give a special mention to Jackie and Ian (the carvery man) who both ensured our visit was as stress free as possible, and nothing was a chore. There was plenty of variety for all including gluten free options. A thoroughly enjoyable meal. Thank you, places like this are hard to find.
Easy to park. Excellent food and friendly, pleasant staff. Carvery had a good variety of meats and a nice choice of vegetables. Will visit again when in the area.
I live in Devon so don't get to come here often but boy is it worth it...very fine carvery with small,standard and large plates(really sensible) and the desserts are DELICIOUS and HUUUGE!!!,l can't eat a whole dessert but they will pack it into a plastic container to take away and l always get another one to take home because they are just amazing...Never seen anything like it anywhere else.
Staff are brilliant,so friendly,accommodating and welcoming. Wish it was on my doorstep l'd never bother to cook!!

It's the first time I've been here & I will be going back,my friend & I were there around 5:15 so plenty of places to sit,the food was delicious & lots of it,I couldn't eat all my main course,we had dessert an hour later again delicious,the staff were friendly & chatty
Honest, good value carvery. Lovely, helpful staff when we were there. The carnivores in our group all commented on how good all the carvery meat was.
This is the best carvery around we come from Chippenham most Sundays the beef dripping potatoes are the best ! Always been greeted by lovely staff never an issue even when they are so busy hats off to the chef you do a banging Sunday roast !

Really good family friendly place to eat and drink. Food is good with a wide selection of normal pub food and a carvery. Kids done is nice with staff friendly and supportive. The cakes/desserts/ice creams are superb. Kids are glued to the display!!
