Disappointing. No real ale available, despite recently appearing in a local real ale guide, wasn't open at the advertised times - thankfully did open about fifteen minutes after i arrived but didn't feel welcoming.
As of 2025 - new owners! They treated us very well & the beer was fresh. Will definitely return!
Currently building an outdoor park for children, currently have bouncy castle, pool table and darts. Good beer. What more do you need!
Would not take a family here. Appears very run down and not very inviting landlady was not very happy and landlord was drunk.
