We went for lunch last Thursday with a friend and had the best meal. Prices are very reasonable and food was excellent. Only tricky part was choosing from a wide selection of great meals. Service was quick and staff were amazing. A thoroughly nice place for lunch.
We stayed one night here - lf you want comfort and essentials at a reasonable price, then this is for you. If you want luxury, then it's not, you get what you pay for.
The rooms are tired and dated but they are clean and maintained as best they can be.
The pub has lovely staff and great food. We had dinner and breakfast - both were delicious, presented well, great value for money and in a relaxed environment.
Parking is plentiful - i didn't use the wi-fi or visit the surrounding area, so I can not comment, but if you're looking for somewhere to rest your head for a
night or two, or a decent and reasonably priced meal, then i can wholeheartedly recommend the crown inn.
Food & Beverage only
We have been going to this pub for over 2 years now and it still remains a favourite. Given 4 stars for good pub food, ambiance and service.
With a good selection of draught, beers, ales including one of the most diverse menus ive seen in a pub. With imagination and out of the box thinking, and i believe the first pub ive been to without fish and chips on the menu.....dont despare they have fish fingers 😎
Ample parking, great menu and drink selection along with lots of seating arrangements makes this venue a must for a pit stop.

Lovely restaurant for food any time of the day. Great staff, tasty great value for money food. Cant beat it.
I stayed here as a base for exploring the surrounding areas by motorcycle. The Cotswolds, Bristol, etc are all within a 45-60 minute ride.
The staff are exceptionally friendly, as are the clientele. The food and drink are both very good and moderately priced. My room overlooked the courtyard and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay at a reasonable cost. The main road out front can get busy with lorries going to and from the industrial estates just down the road, which noisewise, can get a little intrusive at times.
Brilliant food, friendly staff all round great value for money, will definitely go again
I mean, my wife had a lovely meal booked. A table put us near door drafty. But they did Move us
Very lovely place to stay and good value for money. Spacious room with all you can expect, but shower/bathroom could do with a bit of TLC.
Me, my 87 year old Mum and a family friend visited during the week. Not forgetting Harry who is an 8 year old Cockapoo.
Mum and I chose from the two meals for £15 which was excellent value. Mum had a large, bubbling hot Lasagne and garlic bread while I had the chicken sizzler which was extremely tasty and freshly cooked. Our friend had fish and chips. Also, excellent value.
The best part though, was the arrival of about 5 wet dogs who'd been on a run with their owners. All made welcome in the 'dog area' by the friendly staff.
Highly recommend.
Welcoming pub, good service, and great to be able to take the dog.
Food was good but I found the menu choices a little limited.
