When your in a different town on your own it's always a little awkward to go for dinner, however on this occasion I swung by Yates and the staff made me feel very welcome after a short chat while ordering revealed my situation, food was delivered in great time and tasted �� once I was done with my food I hung around for a few more drinks and while I was at the bar they were very attentive. If I ever need to stop in swindon again Yates will defiantly be first on my list of places to go.

Went here with my grandaughter it was packed full of people watching football but we found a nice table and got served very quickly I had a delicious halloumi salad and my grandaughter had chicken burger, both meals very tasty and fresh.. Worth a visit if you're in Swindon

We only stopped by for drinks, so we can not vouch for the food. The staff were very friendly, it was busy early due to a sporting event being shown. The Tavern was clean and tidy. Toilets Accessible toilets require a radar key. This was also clean and well presented. Plenty of tables and chairs, including a few out the front.

Great food at great value especially with their weekend deal for 5 small plates. Better prices than Wetherspoons and actually fresh! Great prices on drinks and one of the few places in Swindon you can get a Lilley's Cider. Friendly hard working staff.

Went to see a band. ££ beer, great choice, very good service. Empty glasses pick up quickly, great atmosphere and clean well stocked toilets. Recommended for a drink and even something to eat.

Sat and had a drink here on a Thursday night , it was very quite which was great as there are lots of comfy sofas to sit on. Nice music was being played. The prices for a coke where a little overpriced. Ovall a good place for a drink and a chat
